NBA Fast Break Run 6 | Day 7
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 15 Three Pointers Made and 25 Three Point Attempts to earn your win.
Overview:
We’ve officially reached the midway point of this run as we’ve completed six days and have six more after today. After another strong day where 89% of Fast Break participants earned a win, the majority are five or less wins away from the nine-win reward. Chris Paul was used in a whopping 82% of lineups and brought honor to his name as he contributed 14 assists (56% of the objective) and 4 steals (80% of the objective), which earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day. Every one of the top five players used in lineups had at least one steal and chipped in some assists, so there were no duds on Day 6. Day 7 is likely going to be a different story though.
We are up to 7,700 participants and it doesn’t seem likely we’ll set a new high watermark. With seven days remaining in this run, that participation number may tick up to the 9,000 mark as it has the previous run or least come close to it. Of the participants, there remains 26 perfect records. Without further ado, let’s see today’s projections and stats.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 7 requires five (5) players who will sink 15.0 or more three pointers and attempt 25.0 or more three pointers, which means your lineup will need to average 3.0 3PM and 5.0 3PA per player. These two stats are fully correlated - you can’t make a three without attempting a three, so the second objective is more a formality than hindrance. Looking at the top five players utilized in lineups, there is commonality amongst the top three, but falls off precipitously thereafter. This feels like a sneaky difficult day as your high-end three point shooters have shown they are capable of off-days as each one has had multiple games with 2 or less three pointers in multiple games over their last 10. Hopefully you’ll have at least one player who exceeds 3.0 3PM to cover for any underperformers.
Outside Snipers: Stephen Curry, Donovan Mitchell, Norman Powell, Jordan Poole
Top Five (5) Players in FB Lineups: D. Mitchell (68%), N. Powell (53%), S. Curry (53%), C. White (36%), K. Thompson (35%)
Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow, 45 rebounds are needed and there are 12 teams in action
Objectives (after today): +/-, OREB, AST-TO, PTS, REB, BLK, FGM, PIP, STL
Considerations:
Phoenix has the least number of games remaining (2)
Thirteen (13) teams have the most games remaining (4)
No teams are playing the tail end of a back-to-back
Each day, there are at least 10 teams in action
Both +/- and AST-TO make an appearance in Run 6 (Day 10 & 13)
Day 10 & Day 13 are looking to be the most challenging of this run
8 of 13 days have two objectives; 5 have a single objective

Four wins in a row! Day 7 feels like a sleeper difficult day, but hoping for five wins in a row which gives us more of a chance at hitting that nine-win mark.
