NBA Fast Break Run 6 | Day 6
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 5 Steals and 25 Assists to earn your win.
Overview:
Five days down, eight more to go. Similar to Day 3 & 4, Day 5 saw 75% of participants earn a win. Many of those Fast Breakers (included in 48% of lineups) benefitted from a monster day from Jalen Brunson who provided 16 made free throws, which accounted for 64% of the required total objective. For that performance, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day Award.
DeMar DeRozan, on the other hand, had a good statistical day overall but only had one (1) free throw made which earned him the Fast Break Dud of the Day considering he was used in 55% of lineups. This also marks the Sacramento Kings’ 6th straight loss and pushes them deeper under .500 and 12th in a stacked Western Conference. With 82 total games in a season and 32 completed, they have plenty of time to turn it around though. If you had DeMar and survived, consider yourself one of the lucky ones. Lastly, we have 7,500+ total participants this run and only 26 remain perfect which means having at least three (3) wins still gives you a chance at the top 500 overall which earns you Top Shot Credit to spend as you wish. Let’s dive into today’s data.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 6 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 5.0 or more steals and 25.0 or more assists, which means your lineup will need to average 1.0 STL and 5.0 AST per player. These two stats are often correlated based on the projections and last 10 games per player. Of course, there are players who have more of a specialty in one stat over the other so you are able to moneyball the day and focus on high assist or high steals. Based on the top five players used, it appears most participants are aiming for high assists and hope they’ll get to five steals along the way, which isn’t a poor approach considering each of the five are projected to gain at least one swipe today. Someone like a Dyson Daniels has stolen 3.2 per game over his last 10 games and has chipped in 4.6 assists over his last 10 games. On the other hand, Fred VanVleet has averaged 0.8 steals and 5.7 assists over his last 10 games. Then again, Dyson could have an off day whereas Fred has his best. Fast Break Days have a tendency to bring out the best or worst in players.

Tome Collective’s Fast Break Run 6 Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):
Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
That’s a three day win streak and the first grail seeker secured! Steals & assists are usually challenging, but we have some heavy hitters lined up. We opted to keep Dyson Daniels on Day 11 as it appears to be more dicey. Let’s keep the momentum going and earn win number 4 today.
