Overview:
Fast Break Day 1 coincided with the first day of the Emirates NBA Cup and it produced 92% winners on the day. Great start for 5,300+ participants. SGA & Giannis led both their teams to a win and contributed 15 field goals made apiece to lead Fast Break lineups to a high win clip - your Fast Break Studs of the Day. Luka, on the other hand, underperformed both on the court and in Fast Break as he went 5-15 from the field and turned the ball over 6 times, which earns him the no-so-coveted Fast Break Dud of the Day. With Orlando & Dallas being officially eliminated from the NBA Cup, they’ll both have two (2) games remaining on their schedule.
Day 5 matchups (and available players to include in your lineup) will be clear after the buzzer sounds in Houston. This is one of those scenarios where you’ll need to cross that bridge when we get there, but not today since you cannot set Day 5 or 8 anyway. This also means that 5,300+ participants still have a shot at the top prize are two tickets, hotel, & airfare to the NBA All-Star Game in San Francisco, CA on February 16th.

Fast Break Day 2 requires five (5) players who will make 12 or more three pointers and distribute 20 or more assists, which means your lineup will need to average 2.4 3PM and 4.0 AST per player. There appears to be a strong consensus on the top player for today considering over 90% of participants have Steph in their lineup.

Day 2 & 5 will only have four (4) teams in action
Day 3, 10, & 12 will only have six (6) teams in action
Every team will play between 3-5 games, so your collection will be stretched further than the past two runs
50% of Run 5 will have a single objective, which makes for simpler planning
Assists minus Turnovers and +/- objectives are not included in this run, but will likely return next run
Plan around Day 12 as it requires the most divergent stats of this run - points in the paint & three pointers made
There are no games scheduled for December 18th
December 19th is a big day for returns from injury including (tentatively) Paolo Banchero, Zion Williamson, & others

Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 games, and rest of season projections, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Off to a good start with a win - especially considering we placed in the top 100 for a daily reward! Day 2 is a bit hairier and comes with Day 8 implications considering the common objective (3PM). Opting to use Steph today to increase our chances of earning that win. I also inadvertently used Jalen Green 3x on the outline - oops. That’s been corrected and he’s in today’s lineup. Day 8 was also deleted considering the unknown until the Emirates NBA Cup champion is crowned.
