NBA Fast Break Run 7 | Day 4
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 5 Blocks and 40 Points in the Paint to earn your win.
Recap & Overview:
Tyrese Haliburton was one of the big reasons why the Pacers beat Chicago yesterday as he contributed 13 assists and 2 steals, which also helped 39% of lineups for Fast Break. On a day where steals did not come from many of the players who were projected to have at least one, Haliburton’s two were a big deal and likely contributed to the a large portion of the 42% of Day 3 participants who earned a win. For this performance, he is your Fast Break Stud of the Day. On the other end of the spectrum, James Harden was utilized in 72% of lineups and only contributed 4 assists and no steals, which contributed to the LA Clippers blowout loss to a Jokic-less Denver Nuggets. Ouch. For his forgettable performance, Harden is your Fast Break Dud of the Day.
There remains over 1,000 Fast Break participants who remain perfect through three days of this Fast Break run. In Fast Break Run 6, it took all of a day to drop under 100 perfect records which is much faster than what we’re seeing in Run 7. Inevitably, that number will erode away as the series progresses and we’ll see fewer and fewer with each passing day. Slow and steady wins the long-term race…unless you are really gunning for a top 25 finish each night. If your NBA Top Shot collection is limited and/or you don’t have many/any rares or above, be sure to check the Tome Collective common challenge segment below as it maps out the remainder of the run, progress toward the win objectives, and any adjustments based on injuries or better stats. Feel free to use it as a reference or starting point for your own lineup selections.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 4 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 5.0 or more blocks and score 40.0 or more points in the paint, which means your lineup will need to average 1.0 BLK & 8.0 PIP per player. Yesterday was a day for guards whereas today, you’ll have a heavy tilt toward the forwards and centers as they have a higher chance at getting you both blocks and points in the paint. Yes, you can go with some slashers to get you the points in the paint, but that’ll put you at risk at missing the blocks objective unless you’re confident one of your other players can get you multiple blocks to cover the difference. Ideally, you’ll select five players who has the potential to get you multiple blocks while scoring on the other end of the court.
Little of Both: Jaren Jackson, Evan Mobley, Amen Thompson
Shot Blockers: Walker Kessler, Dereck Lively, Goga Bitadze, Jaren Jackson, Amen Thompson, Evan Mobley, Rudy Gobert, Jakob Poeltl

It looked as though we were going to come up a steal shy of earning our second win until Chris Paul picked up a steal in the 4th quarter. Survived another day and onward to Day 4.
