NBA Fast Break Historic | Run 2 | Day 9

Today’s Objective(s): 30 Assists

Fast Break Historic Recap: Day 8

Day 8 was the seventh of eight days where over 70% of Fast Breakers earned a win — more specifically, 72% won yesterday as points scored and offensive rebounds were needed.

Kevin Garnett saw the highest utilization as he was seen in 56% of lineups and he delivered a 30 point, 1 offensive rebound performance, which earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day award. On the other hand, Rip Hamilton (4th highest, 37%) struggled as he only scored 16 points alongside a single offensive rebound. Out of the top five, he had the lowest output and rightfully earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day award, but Dirk wasn’t too far ahead in the points column.

Considerations:

  • Day 11 & 13 has 10 or less teams in action, so lineup options are more limited

  • Day 10 (tomorrow) has 20 or more teams in action, so there is more flexibility with your lineup options

  • The always volatile & challenging AST-TO takes place on Day 13
