NBA Fast Break Historic | Run 2 | Day 8

Today’s Objective(s): 120 Points Scored & 5 Offensive Rebounds

Fast Break Historic Recap: Day 7

Day 7 allowed us to continue our winning ways as six of seven days have resulted in 70% of Fast Break participants earning a win. Yesterday, 84% found their way to a notch in the win column. Kyle Korver was not only the player with the highest utilization rate (90%), his inclusion was the catalyst to victory as he shot 8 of 12 from outside if he was named your captain (5 for 8 otherwise). In either scenario and excluding the bonus, he covered over 30% of each, so he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day.

For the rest of the top five most utilized players, there were none who were egregious on the downside. With that said, there were no Duds on the Day.

Overview:

  • Day: 8 of 14

  • Objective(s): 120 Points Scored & 5 Offensive Rebounds (24.0 PTS & 1.0 OREB)

Top Player Options:

  • Little of Both:

Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:

  • Objectives remaining (after today): AST-TO, AST, STL, FGM, FGA, BLK, REB

  • Tomorrow Objective(s):

Considerations:

  • Fifteen (15) teams have the most remaining games (4)

  • Fifteen (15) teams have the fewest remaining games (3)

  • Day 11 & 13 has 10 or less teams in action, so lineup options are more limited

  • Day 10 has 20 or more teams in action, so there is more flexibility with your lineup options

  • The always volatile & challenging AST-TO takes place on Day 13

Statistical Approach:

Top players in points scored & offensive rebounds according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 (when available), and season averages, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ members, all active player stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.
