Day 5 marked the fifth straight day where over 50% of Historic Fast Break participants earned a win as 72% of collectors walked away victorious. In total, there are 218 who remain perfect with five days remaining in this run. As we get more and more data, the trends are becoming are prominent as players like Alex English are premier options for scoring days. Although he wasn’t one of the top five most utilized players, he had the highest projected contribution as well as highest actual contribution as he scored 33 points on 15 field goals made.
Of the top five players utilized yesterday, Allen Iverson had the most points and field goals (32 PTS and 12 FGM), but was only in 25% of lineups. With his performance, he was your Fast Break Stud of the Day. Stephon Marbury, on the other hand, only scored 18 points with 6 field goals made. He was utilized in 26% of lineups and likely did not lead to a top 200 standing for a daily reward. For his performance, he earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day award.
