WNBA Fast Break Classic | Run 6 | Day 1

Today’s Objective(s): 80 Points Scored & 7 Three Pointers Made

Overview:

Today kicks off the first day of the second half of the WNBA season, which coincides with the 6th Fast Break run. This run is also a day longer than the previous, so there is a bit more flexibility on earning the mid-tier reward, but an extra day needed to reach the top reward.

Today’s Matchups:

Los Angeles Sparks (8-14) vs Washington Mystics (11-11)

At CareFirst Arena, Washington hosts Los Angeles in a game that could shape the playoff bubble. The Mystics enter with a 58% win probability and a slight edge in consistency, led by Brittney Sykes and rookie standouts Kiki Iriafen & Sonia Citron. The Sparks counter with Dearica Hamby’s interior dominance and Kelsey Plum’s all-around game. With both teams alternating wins and losses lately, expect a gritty, possession-driven battle where Washington’s home-court edge may prove decisive.

Indiana Fever (12-11) vs New York Liberty (15-6)

The Barclays Center sets the stage for a high-profile clash between New York and Indiana. The Liberty are heavy favorites with an 81.4% win probability, anchored by Breanna Stewart’s two-way brilliance and Sabrina Ionescu’s floor generalship. Indiana, fresh off a strong pre-break stretch, will need Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell to be sharp to keep pace. With Clark nursing a groin injury, New York’s depth and defensive pressure could tilt this one early.

Chicago Sky (7-15) vs Minnesota Lynx (20-4)

Back in Minneapolis, the Lynx welcome the Sky with an 86.7% win probability and a history of dominance in this matchup. Napheesa Collier continues her MVP-level campaign, while Alanna Smith and Kayla McBride round out a balanced attack. Chicago leans on Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, but struggles on the road and recent losses suggest Minnesota will control tempo and extend their win streak.

Atlanta Dream (13-9) vs Las Vegas Aces (11-11)

Las Vegas returns from the All-Star break to host Atlanta and hold a 57% win probability. The Aces are led by A’ja Wilson, fresh off a 37-point outing, alongside Jackie Young and Chelsea Gray. Atlanta, missing Rhyne Howard, will rely on Allisha Gray and Brittney Griner to keep the offense flowing. With Vegas trending upward and Atlanta adjusting to injuries, the Aces are projected to edge out a close one.

Dallas Wings (6-17) vs Seattle Storm (14-9)

At Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle faces Dallas with an 80.1% win probability. The Storm are anchored by Nneka Ogwumike and Skylar Diggins, while Dallas continues to search for rhythm amid lineup changes. Arike Ogunbowale & Paige Bueckers remain scoring threats, but Seattle’s defensive structure and home-court advantage make them the clear favorite to close the night with a win.

Today’s Objective(s): Day 1
