WNBA Fast Break Classic | Run 2 | Day 2
Today’s Objective(s): 15 Assists & 2 Steals
Recap & Overview:
Mystics Secure Big Win Against the Fever
In yesterday’s solo matchup, the Indiana Fever traveled to the nation’s capital to face the Washington Mystics, who are led by Brittney Sykes and two rookies (Iriafen & Citron) who are playing at a high level—both of whom will have their first digital collectibles in today’s pack drop, which will also include 20 moments featuring their digital signatures on their rookie debuts.
Despite missing Caitlin Clark, the Fever kept things competitive, with DeWanna Bonner leading the charge with 21 points, supported by Mitchell, Howard, and Boston, who all reached double digits. However, Washington’s surprising cohesion and competitive play gives them a legitimate chance at making the playoffs this season.
Fast Break Run 2 Begins, But A Tough Start
The first day of Fast Break Run 2 felt eerily similar to past struggles—only 2 collectors walked away with a win. A brutal start, but there’s plenty of time to turn things around as the run unfolds.
WNBA Fast Break Pack Drop: Chase the Signature Parallels
Today marks the first WNBA Fast Break pack drop of the 2025 season, bringing an exciting opportunity to bolster collections with impact rookies. Each pack retails for $49 with an instant $20+ buyback offer, making signature parallels the prime chase cards. Look for limited edition rookie debuts featuring digital autographs from: Paige Bueckers, Sonia Citron, Sarah Ashlee Barker, Kiki Iriafen, & Saniya Rivers.
With just 20 of each signature parallel available, collectors will be competing fiercely to secure them. Notably, Dominique Malonga and Hailey Van Lith are absent from this drop but will likely appear in a future release.
Fast Break Recap: Sykes Shines, Cunningham Disappoints
Yesterday’s Fast Break challenge revolved around field goals made and three-pointers, but the results were mixed. Brittney Sykes, featured in 92% of lineups, delivered six made field goals and one three-pointer, earning her the Fast Break Star of the Day.
On the other hand, Sophie Cunningham was rostered by 57% of collectors and struggled with zero field goals and zero threes, making her the Fast Break Dud of the Day.
