NBA Fast Break Classic | NBA Finals | Day 6

Today’s Objective(s): 15 Assists & 2 Steals

Recap & Overview:

One Win from Glory, But the Road Isn't Friendly

The Oklahoma City Thunder stand one win away from hoisting the Larry O’Brien Trophy, yet there’s a familiar roadblock—they’ll need to do it on the road, where they’ve struggled all postseason.

Indiana’s home crowd is no small factor, and the Pacers will throw everything they have at extending this series. The spotlight, once again, will fall on Tyrese Haliburton. If his calf continues to limit him—or if he replicates his Game 5 struggle—the door may swing wide open for the Thunder to close things out and silence Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Fast Break Day 5 Recap: SGA Stands Tall, Tyrese Stumbles

With Field Goals Made & Field Goal Attempts as the key objectives, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander delivered in a big way. The Thunder star not only led OKC, but also topped the charts among most-utilized players, earning himself Fast Break Stud of the Day honors.

Jalen Williams poured in 40 points, and while his usage wasn’t as high, it was a performance worth highlighting.

On the flip side, Tyrese Haliburton, trusted in 37% of lineups, had his worst performance of the playoffs, costing many collectors a win—and locking in his spot as the Fast Break Dud of the Day.

Fast Break Preview: Assists & Steals with Limited Options

Day 6 presents a unique challenge: Assists & Steals, with many collections already thinned by previous plays.

This is where legendary-tier moments and strategic conservation pay off. If you’ve got fresh legs left in your lineup, the path to the daily reward opens up—at least a little wider than most.

Let’s break down which players can deliver in these hustle categories and build a roadmap to keep your run alive.

Today’s Objective(s):

Fast Break Day 6 requires five (5) players who will distribute 15.0 or more assists and accumulate 2.0 or more steals, which means each player will need to average at least 3.0 AST & 0.4 STL. Assists will be the trouble spot, especially if Haliburton is limited. Additionally, we’re on Day 6 so your player options are either very thin or exhausted. No reason why you shouldn’t at least submit a lineup, even if you can’t fill all five slots.

  • Little of Both: Tyrese Haliburton, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Andrew Nembhard, T.J. McConnell

  • Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: A. Caruso (55%), T. Haliburton (40%), A. Nembhard (34%), T. McConnell (31%), C. Wallace (29%)

Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:

  • Game 7 (if necessary): 10 Three Pointers Made & 20 Three Point Attempts (2.0 3PM & 4.0 3PA)

  • Objectives Remaining (after today): 3PM, 3PA
