NBA Fast Break Classic | Conference Finals | Day 7
Today’s Objective(s): 10 Three Pointers Made & 20 Three Point Attempts
Recap & Overview:
Knicks Rally to Keep Their Season Alive
Facing a must-win scenario, the New York Knicks found themselves trailing by double digits at the end of the first half and through the third quarter. Unlike previous matchups, however, New York carried momentum into the final frame, launching a comeback run that saw them take a one-point lead with eight minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
From that moment on, both teams traded buckets in a thrilling back-and-forth battle, never separated by more than four points down the stretch. With 22 seconds remaining, Pascal Siakam had a chance to put Indiana ahead, but his three-point attempt was off the mark. Unlike Game 1, New York remained composed at the free-throw line, knocking down their shots to secure their first victory of the series.
None of this, though, would have been possible without Karl-Anthony Towns and his 20-point barrage in the fourth quarter. By avoiding a 3-0 deficit, the Knicks now have a fighting chance to turn the series around. However, Indiana must protect home court in Game 4 to regain control and prevent New York from fully shifting momentum.
Fast Break Recap: No Winners on Day 6
Yesterday’s Fast Break objectives required 20 assists and 2 steals, but the low assist total (just 34 overall) made success impossible as no player aside from Tyrese Haliburton had more than four assists.
Tyrese Haliburton led all players with seven assists, helping the 86% of collectors who included him in their lineup. His performance earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day.
Unfortunately, as no other player recorded more than four assists, no five-player lineup could have reached the 20-assist requirement, meaning there were no winners on Day 6—an extremely rare outcome in NBA Fast Break.
Game 4 Preview: Oklahoma City Looks to Regain Control
Tonight, Oklahoma City returns to Minnesota, seeking to rebound from their blowout loss in Game 3. For the Timberwolves, this matchup is critical—falling behind 3-1 would make the road to the NBA Finals nearly impossible, especially given their struggles in Oklahoma City so far.
If Minnesota can hold serve on their home court, they’d only need one more road victory to punch their ticket to the Finals. However, OKC still possesses the firepower and confidence to take control of the series once again with a statement win.
Fast Break Outlook: Three-Pointers Take Center Stage
Today’s Fast Break objectives shift focus to three-pointers, with both teams shooting a combined 34-of-84 from deep. Anthony Edwards led the way, knocking down 5-of-8 attempts from beyond the arc, providing a strong option for lineups.
As long as collectors average at least two three-pointers per player, a win should be within reach. Expect a higher success rate than the previous two days, which saw only 100 winning lineups combined across Days 5 & 6.
And with that, let’s get into today’s projections and lineup strategies.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 7 requires five (5) players who will sink 10.0 three pointers out of 20.0 three point attempts, which means each player will need to average at least 2.0 3PM & 4.0 3PA. The former will determine whether you earn a win and the latter will dictate where you rank. There are only two (2) teams in action today (and every day this run) and this will be the fourth game of the Western Conference Finals, so your available players is likely starting to feel strained. Since Minnesota won Game 3, there will be a Game 5. If they win today, there will be a Game 6, so plan accordingly.

Looks like we were in good company as no collector earned a win yesterday. We still need win #4 and we still need 4 more to earn the 7-win pack. If Oklahoma City & Indiana win their respective series 4-1, it’ll mean we’ll need to win all four remaining games. If Ant has a repeat of Game 3, we’ll be in decent shape, but a blowout in either direction would significantly hinder our chances for a win.
