NBA Fast Break Classic | Conference Finals | Day 4
Today’s Objective(s): 20 Rebounds & 2 Blocks
Recap & Overview:
Thunder Dominate Second Half, Timberwolves Struggle Again
After witnessing an instant classic in Game 1 between New York and Indiana, Game 2 did not live up to the billing. The Minnesota Timberwolves, the same team that took down the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, looks completely different against Oklahoma City.
Minnesota kept things close through the first half, but the third quarter was déjà vu—the Thunder pulled away, extending their lead to double digits heading into the fourth. Julius Randle was nearly nonexistent, shooting 2-for-11 from the field and finishing with just six points. Anthony Edwards did his part, leading the way with 32 points, but he struggled from beyond the arc, converting only 1-of-9 three-point attempts.
If the Timberwolves find a way to turn things around and win the series, it would mark their first NBA Finals appearance since their founding in 1989. But after two difficult outings, they need serious adjustments before Game 3.
Fast Break Recap: Low Thresholds Lead to High Wins
Fast Break objectives played out as expected, with a low threshold of 20 rebounds and 2 blocks, which most lineups could achieve with just two players. Following the trend of the first two days of this run, another high percentage of players secured wins, with 82% walking away with their third victory.
Rudy Gobert, utilized in 91% of lineups, delivered solid production with nine rebounds and one block. Meanwhile, Naz Reid, featured in 39% of lineups, made a strong impact with eight rebounds (40% of the goal) and two blocks (100% of the goal), earning him the Fast Break Stud of the Day.
Chet Holmgren, despite his 7’1” frame, struggled with only four rebounds and no blocks, making him an underwhelming pick for the 33% of players who used him—not a disaster, but certainly not a difference-maker.
Game 2 Preview: Pacers vs. Knicks
Tonight, Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals takes place in Madison Square Garden, where the Pacers look to push their series lead to 2-0 over the Knicks.
New York must regroup quickly and erase the sting of their Game 1 collapse, while Indiana hopes to ride its momentum and secure another win. Expect a gritty, competitive battle—neither team is backing down from the challenge.
Looking Ahead: Rebounds & Blocks Take Center Stage (again)
Fast Break objectives remain unchanged, with rebounds and blocks once again taking center stage. Given the relatively low thresholds, collectors with limited rosters may find it unnecessary to field a full five-person lineup unless pushing for a daily reward.
For those with larger collections, the smart move is to maximize your lineup and go for the daily prize.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 4 requires five (5) players who will secure 20.0 or more rebounds and accumulate 2.0 or more blocks, which means each player will need to average at least 4.0 REB & 0.4 BLK. There are only two (2) teams in action today (and every day this run) and this will be the second game of the Eastern Conference Finals, so you’ll have five uses of players less than you did on Day 2. With at least two (2) more games, be mindful of your available players remaining, which will need to be spread thinner if New York wins today.

That’s three wins under our belt, but yesterday was a close call as we only started three players. We had juuuuuust enough rebounds and blocks to secure another win. Here’s our lineup today, where we are intentionally setting a lineup with less than a full roster as we are limited on available players.
