NBA Fast Break Classic | Conference Semifinals | Day 5
Today’s Objective(s): 10 Three Pointers Made & 25 Three Point Attempts
Recap & Overview:
Minnesota needed a bounce-back win against a hobbled but scrappy Warriors squad. They wasted no time, opening the game with a 13-0 run and outscoring Golden State in every quarter to even the series at 1-1. With Steph Curry sidelined until at least Game 5, the Timberwolves have a golden opportunity to steal wins in the Bay Area. But if Game 1 was any indication, the Warriors won’t go down quietly without a fight—especially with Draymond Green and his elbows lurking.
Now, let’s talk about yesterday’s Fast Break outcome.
If you had Julius Randle in your lineup, you most likely cashed in. His game-high 16 points in the paint accounted for 46% of the day’s total objective, helping 75% of participants secure a win. That dominant performance earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day award. On the flip side, Jimmy Butler was the most heavily utilized player (90% of lineups), but he managed just six points in the paint, making him the Fast Break Dud of the Day.
Looking ahead, both No. 1 seeds hit the road today, facing their No. 4 seed opponents. Indiana aims to extend their lead, while Oklahoma City and Denver battle for control of their series. The Thunder looked unstoppable in their last matchup against the Nuggets, and if Denver can’t slow them down, OKC could close this series in 5, max 6 games. Meanwhile, expect Cleveland to grab at least one win in Indiana—especially if Mobley and Garland return.
Today’s matchups will offer high-stakes basketball, so anticipate more high caliber, exciting play in both games.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 5 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 10.0 or more makes and 25.0 or more attempted three pointers, which means each player will need to average at least 2.0 3PM & 5.0 3PA per player. There are four (4) teams in action today, so your options are more open than yesterday. Makes will determine whether you earn the win, but attempts will determine where you rank overall. With the majority of lineups including both Mitchell & Haliburton, those two will play a meaningful role in the number of winners today.
Outside Shot Makers & Takers: Donovan Mitchell, Jamal Murray, Darius Garland, Tyrese Haliburton, Aaron Nesmith, Luguentz Dort
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: D. Mitchell (91%), T. Haliburton (84%), M. Porter (65%), L. Dort (63%), I. Joe (57%)

Tome Collective’s Fast Break NBA Playoffs Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):
Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
This run is not going well for us as we did not have Julius Randle in our lineup. The five starters we had fell short of the objective, which means we are still at one (1) win. It also means we still need six (6) wins to go and things aren’t looking great for us. If we don’t win today, we are all but out of the running based on our remaining player options.
