NBA Fast Break Classic | Conference Semifinals | Day 2
Today’s Objective(s): 35 Rebounds
Recap & Overview:
The NBA Playoff Conference Semifinals have been delivering some serious drama, and the underdogs are making their presence felt. The Pacers stunned the Cavs in Cleveland with a 121-112 win, stealing home-court advantage two nights ago. Meanwhile last night, the Knicks pulled off a gritty win against the Celtics in overtime (after being down by 20 in the 3rd Quarter), and the Nuggets hung around long enough to also steal home-court advantage on another Aaron Gordon game winner. Unlike many games in the first round that featured blowouts, all three games of the second round were physical, hard fought, down-to-the-wire games with exciting outcomes.
As for Fast Break, yesterday’s target required 100 points scored. Jokic was an absolute force with 42 points (and 22 rebounds), which helped the 50% of collectors who started him earn a win and earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day award. SGA and Brunson kept their teams in the fight with 33 and 29, respectively, and contributed to the success of the collectors who started them also. Additionally, Tatum and Brown may have hit the scoring threshold, but their fourth-quarter fade let the Knicks snatch a crucial road win at The Garden. Boston will need to regroup fast to avoid a deeper hole.
As a reminder, the first NBA Top Shot Playoff Pack will become available today, which adds to the volume of available plays that you’ll need to collect if you’re pushing for the physical items that will be distributed to set completers at the common, rare, legendary, and ultimate levels. With that said, let’s dive into today’s targets.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 2 requires five (5) players who will grab 35.0 or more rebounds, which means each player will need to average at least 7.0 REB per player. There are four (4) teams in action today, which includes Game 2 of the IND-CLE & Game 1 of the GSW-MIN series. In both cases, you’ll have full availability of all players on these teams as this is the first game of this run for all four (4) teams.
Glass Crashers: Rudy Gobert, Jarrett Allen, Evan Mobley, Pascal Siakam, Myles Turner
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: J. Allen (91%), R. Gobert (87%), J. Randle (60%), P. Siakam (51%), E. Mobley (50%)
NBA Playoffs:
Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow: 30.0 Assists (6.0 AST per player)
Objectives Frequency (after today):
3x: PITP, AST
2x: STL, 3PM, 3PA, PTS
1x: FGM, FGA, OREB, BLK, REB
Considerations:
Unless Indiana sweeps the Cavaliers, they will play four (4) games this series (max six (6))
Day 4 (May 8th) only has one (1) game scheduled
Day 9 (May 13th) is the first Game 5, if necessary, which means any sweeps would hinder the availability of players
Minnesota & Golden State will play a maximum of six (6) games during this run

Tome Collective’s Fast Break NBA Playoffs Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):
Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
Day 1 fell short of the goal thanks to poor showings from Braun & Bridges (at least from a scoring perspective) and less than expected from SGA. That means we still need seven (7) wins to earn our primary objective. We’re not taking any chances and going for the win while not exhausting all our top options.
