NBA Fast Break Classic | Playoffs Round 1 | Day 15
Today’s Objective(s): 30 Rebounds & 15 Assists
Recap & Overview:
Houston looked dead to rights as they were down 3-1 after leaving the Bay Area. After winning in dominating fashion in Houston and stunning a raucous Golden State crowd, they are one (1) win away from knocking out the former NBA Champions. Fred VanVleet was a man on a mission and had a 29-8-8 stat line including some heroics in the 4th quarter to help the Rockets pull away. If you were one of the few people (17%) who still had some usage from Alperen Sengun, he delivered 16 points in the paint and helped you get 45.7% of the way to yesterday’s objective. With this performance, he was your Fast Break Stud of the Day.
Kuminga, on the other hand, was utilized in 48% of lineups and delivered a donut. That’s zero points. Although there were others who scored no points in the paint, Kuminga is the clear Fast Break Dud of the Day. Today will have similar restrictions on players you have remaining, but it may yield better results considering the objective and the players available in Game 7 of the Clippers-Nuggets series.
With Houston winning in San Francisco, there will be a Game 7 on Day 16. Additionally, the Indiana-Cleveland series begins, so you’ll have access to those players as well. If you haven’t earned your seventh win, you are down to two days to get there. Now, with only 20 Fast Breakers earning a win yesterday, there are now four (4) collectors who have 12 wins and are not separated by much. With the likely volatile final two days, 11 wins could be within striking distance of a top 10 finish. Remember, top 100 earns a run-based reward. Without further ado, let’s dive into today’s projections.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 15 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 30.0 or more rebounds & distribute 15.0 or more assists, which means each player will need to average at least 6.0 REB & 3.0 AST per player. With only two (2) teams in action today and considering where we are at the end of this Fast Break series, your collection is likely strained and options are quite limited, which means you’re selecting from any remaining players you have left. Good news - you’ll have a reprieve tomorrow as the Indiana and Cleveland game offers you additional options (but limited based on who you’ve used this series).
Little of Both: Nikola Jokic, Kawhi Leonard
Glass Crashers: Ivica Zubac, Nikola Jokic, Kawhi Leonard
Distributors: James Harden, Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: R. Westbrook (61%), A. Gordon (59%), C. Braun (48%), B. Simmons (39%), I. Zubac (38%)

Tomorrow: Field Goals Made & Field Goal Attempts (how many of each is TBD)
Considerations:
Six (6) teams have advanced (OKC, CLE, BOS, IND, MIN, & NYK)
Two series remain (Nuggets/Clippers; Houston/Golden State)
Day 15 will only have one (1) scheduled game
Day 16 will have both Game 7 of the Golden State & Houston game along with Game 1 of the Indiana v. Cleveland series

Tome Collective’s Fast Break NBA Playoffs Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):
Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
Good news - we already reached our seven (7) win objective at least. Bad news - we had another loss yesterday. Today will likely be more of the same. But at least we’ll see an exciting Game 7 between the Clippers and Nuggets.
