NBA Fast Break Play-In Tournament | Day 3
Today’s Objective(s): 25 Field Goals Made & 40 Field Goal Attempts
Overview:
Both the 10 seeds took out the 9 seeds on the road and they’ll need to do it again to stave off elimination. Miami looks to survive against Atlanta and Dallas aims to quiet their critics against the Grizzlies to punch their ticket as the 8 seeds. Whether they lose today or delay the inevitable, facing Cleveland and Oklahoma City in the first round is no small task and the probability of success is quite low.
Most lineups had four of five players who made and attempted the most three pointers. Today, the task is heightened as you’ll want players who not only make shots, but take them too as you are looking for volume, volume, volume. Reaching the 25 field goal threshold is more a formality than a hindrance, so field goal attempts will be the differentiating factor today.
On Day 2 of the Play-In Tournament, well over 50 participants had the highest possible lineup and yet only 50 walked away with a reward as their tier and serial set them apart from the rest of the pack. What’s your strategy today? Do you use the auto-set feature? Do you include a dark horse to potentially land in the top five? Do you have low serials on higher tiers that’ll carry you if the most utilized carry the day? As over 90% of participants earned a win the last two days, winning is all but guaranteed so your goal is to reach the top 50.
If you have not seen it already, there is a bracket challenge for the NBA Playoffs with prizes attached. Choose your winners of each round and follow along throughout the playoffs. The Western Conference could arguably have any of the top eight teams make the Finals whereas the Eastern Conference is likely limited to three viable options. Be sure to fill out a bracket and dive into the projections below and pick your lineup for today.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 2 requires five (5) players who will make 25.0 or more and attempt 40.0 or more shots, which means each player will need to average at least 5.0 FGM & 8.0 FGA. As there are only rewards for daily winners, earning a win is irrelevant. Your goal is to select the top five players in both makes and attempts. Keep in mind there are no run-based rewards and the last day of the play-in tournament, so no need to hold back.
Shot Makers & Takers: Trae Young, Tyler Herro, Jaren Jackson, Ja Morant, Anthony Davis, Desmond Bane, Andrew Wiggins, Bam Adebayo
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: A. Davis (84%), B. Adebayo (60%), T. Young (60%), J. Jackson (56%), D. Bane (48%)
