NBA Fast Break Run 13 | Day 11
Today’s Objective(s): 35 Assists
Recap & Overview:
We are down to the final three days of this run, which means we’ve officially endured ten (10) grueling days as only two days of this run had more than 35% of lineups result in a win. Day 10 had the lowest result as only 9% earned a win thanks to underperformance around the league, which had 10 games on yesterday’s slate. As anticipated based on how this run has gone, the players who were utilized the most heavily were not the biggest performances on a day where points in the paint and offensive rebounds (except for your Stud of the Day). The latter of which were in low supply for the players who mattered most.
Sabonis was the most utilized player (57%) and was one of the few who delivered as he had 10 PITP and 4 OREB. With this performance, he is your Fast Break Stud of the Day. On the other hand, Bam Adebayo could only deliver 6 PITP along with no OREB, so he is your Fast Break Dud of the Day. Honorable mention goes to Mark Williams who was a late scratch, which negatively impacted the quarter of collectors who retained him in their lineups.
Tunes remains the only perfect score this run as they have 10 wins. Behind them are eight (8) collectors hoping the top spot is vacated so they can move up the list for better run-based rewards. If you have at least eight (8) wins to date, you still have a chance at the 11-win reward. You would need to have at least four (4) wins to reach the 7-win reward. In any event, it is prudent to put forth your best effort each day to move up the overall rankings. This goes without saying, but the higher you go, the better the rewards.
As a reminder, Tome+ membership grants you access to useful Fast Break resources, Pro Mode articles, and full data sets for Classic. If you’re curious, but don’t want to pay the $4.99 per month or $12.99 for three months, sending any rare moment to TS: TomeCollective will grant you access for three months, which will include the NBA Playoffs and the first two months of the WNBA Season.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 11 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 35.0 or more assists, which means each player will need to average at least 7.0 AST. Although this is a straightforward objective with a relatively low threshold, the challenge is in the number of players who will be on rest down the stretch which will require you to swap out players as needed. Trae Young would be a no-brainer, but he’s questionable today. A good alternative is Elfrid Payton who has reached double digit assists over his last three games. Be extra diligent in watching for lineup and inactive announcements.
Distributors: Trae Young, Tyrese Haliburton, Jalen Brunson, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Cade Cunningham, Elfrid Payton, Ja Morant

Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow: 15 Three Pointers Made & 130 Points Scored; all 30 teams in action
Objectives frequency (after today): FGM, FGA, 3PM, PTS
Considerations:
Twenty (20) teams have two (2) games remaining
Ten (10) teams have three games remaining
No teams are playing the tail-end of a back-to-back
2 of 3 days this run will have a single objective (or resembles a single objective)
Pro mode has a different limitation each day; it also has different objectives compared to Classic
NBA Playoff Picture:
Eastern Conference: Zero change top to bottom. With Chicago’s win over Miami, it gives them a little wiggle room in securing the 8th or 9th spot in the Play-In Tournament.
Western Conference: With Golden State’s loss to San Antonio at the buzzer, they move to 7th place which pushes Memphis into the top 6. Denver’s win also moved them into the 4th position whereas the Clippers moved down into 5th. The positioning will likely shift around over the next three games days.
Statistical Approach:
Top players in projected assists according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
Luck ran out as we came up well short of yesterday’s objective thanks to some late scratches. Now we shift our focus to placing higher in the run-based rewards. With Garland & Russell unavailable, we swapped in Payton & Brunson.
