NBA Fast Break Run 12 | Day 13
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 40 Field Goals Made & 55 Field Goal Attempts to earn your win.
Recap & Overview:
We’ve reached the end of a volatile Fast Break run where it was a tale of two halves. The first four of the first five days had over 80% winners and gave the feeling of an easy run. But the next week were a much different story as four of those seven days saw less than 40% winners and only one where over 70% earned a win. As such, there are no perfect records anymore which means no perfect packs will be distributed. Currently, there are only 37 Fast Breakers who have earned the 11-win pack with only 315 others who have a chance at earning the 2nd tier pack. A tough day requiring field goals will likely mean a subset of those 315 will achieve their goal.
Myles Turner is usually dependable on block days as he’s been a staple in lineups where rebounds & blocks are needed. Expectedly, he was utilized in 51% of lineups and delivered only 5 rebounds along with no blocks. Of the top five, he is the only one who didn’t contribute what was anticipated considering Sabonis was leaned on for rebounds (13), so he is your Fast Break Dud of the Day. On the other hand, a rookie took home the Fast Break Stud of the Day Award as Zach Edey grabbed 11 rebounds and accumulated 3 blocks. Porzingis and Davis both had 2 blocks apiece also, so they were high contributors also. Without their performances, the 39% success rate would have been much lower. The top rankings shifted significantly though as the top three today differ than how it looked the day before.
On the Classic side, EZBuckets, bobobobo, and cornball round out the current top three. On the Pro side, RichDMC, sutych, and westandrew lead the way. Good luck to these collectors today in maintaining their standing. Good luck to everyone else who are either jockeying for run-based reward placement and/or win-based packs (Classic only).
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 13 requires five (5) players who will make 40.0 & take 55.0 field goals, which means your lineup will need to average 8.0 FGM & 11.0 FGA per player. The former is the only objective that matters as the latter is more a formality (and the differentiator between rankings). Not only do you need to include players who can make a lot of buckets, you’ll need to avoid those who fall flat.
Bucket Getters: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Karl-Anthony Towns, Kevin Durant, Anthony Edwards, Mikal Bridges
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: A. Edwards (45%), K. Durant (40%), M. Bridges (38%), N. Powell (34%), D. Mitchell (33%)
Pro Mode Limitations: Throwdowns (Rare)
Looking Ahead (Run 13): TBD
Considerations (Run 13): TBD

When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ subscribers, projected rest-of-season stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

As expected, rebounds were a given, but blocks were the challenge and it didn’t pan out for us. After two straight losses, we are currently outside the top 1,500 but we’re close to getting back in. We’ll need a win today (and a high ranking) to earn a run-based reward. Fingers crossed.
