NBA Fast Break Run 10 | Day 4
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 5 Blocks & 40 Points in the Paint to earn your win.
Recap & Overview:
Day 3 had some daylight as the wins broke through for the majority as 61% earned a win. On a day where blocks and assists were needed, your triple-double threats stood out as the most valuable. As expected, Sabonis was utilized the most heavily as he was included in about 3 out of 4 lineups and he came through with 14 rebounds and 9 assists, which earned him the coveted Fast Break Stud of the Day award. On the other end, Chris Paul was the go-to player for assists…and he could only muster 2 for 47% of lineups who included him, which earned him the not-so-coveted Fast Break Dud of the Day award.
Of the 180 perfect records through Day 2, 22.7% fell off the pace which leaves 139 participants with three wins under their belt. With 13 more days in this run (including today), the race for the Kia Telluride is narrowing by the day which could expand should perfection elude the 7,500+ total Fast Breakers. Should that happen, it opens the door for those with a single blemish on their record. Plus there is the run-based rewards you are striving to earn. In the event you have yet to earn your first win, you technically still have a chance at the 11-win reward pack so don’t lose sight of the prizes.
If you’re pursuing the Pro mode rewards, keep in mind tomorrow requires TopShot Debuts (TSD) only, which will add a layer to the challenge as tomorrow requires 125 points. Looking much further ahead, Tome Collective will have representation at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, NV (July 10-20, 2025), so we may have some fun giveaways planned during our visit. Plus we’ll blog about the event so you can follow along with all the activations and festivities. If you are planning to attend the NBA Summer League, we hope to see you there. But that’s about five months away, so let’s dive into the objective at hand and earn a win today.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 4 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 5.0 or more blocks and score 40.0 or more points in the paint, which means your lineup will need to average 1.0 BLK & 8.0 PIP per player. There are a decent number of players who have the capability of helping you accumulate both stats, but there are only 5 games on today’s slate. You can take the hybrid approach, moneyball it and fill your lineup with players who are specialists in either stat category, or dabble in both. Based on how the second half of the season has gone so far, be acutely aware of injuries and late scratches as it may adversely affect your lineup.
Little of Both: Kevin Durant, Walker Kessler, Nic Claxton, Mark Williams
Shot Blockers: Walker Kessler, Donovan Clingan, Jaxson Hayes, Nic Claxton
Inside Scorers: Nikola Jokic, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Mark Williams, Nikola Vucevic, Alperen Sengun, Devin Booker, Joel Embiid, Jamal Murray
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: N. Claxton (70%), K. Durant (70%), J. Collins (58%), W. Kessler (37%), N. Jokic (32%)
Pro Mode: N/A

Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow, 125 points scored will be the single objective; 20 teams in action
Objectives frequency (after today):
2x: PTS, STL, FGM, 3PM
1x: FGA, OREB, 3PA, AST, REB, BLK, PIP
Considerations:
Sacramento have the least number of games remaining (4)
Phoenix have the most number of games remaining (7)
Houston & Utah are playing the tail-end game of a back-to-back today
After today, Day 9 only has 10 teams in action, so your lineup options will be more limited on these days
Day 5 & 10 have the most teams in action (20), so your lineup options will be more expansive
Boston & Denver’s last game this run lands on Day 12
Half the days this run will have a single objective (or resembles a single objective)
Assists minus turnovers & +/- are not included as objectives for Run 10
Pro mode has additional limitations on Day 5 (TSD badge), Day 8 (Rookie year badge), Day 10 (TSD badge), Day 12 (Rookie year badge), & Day 14 (Throwdowns)
Statistical Approach:
Top players in projected blocks & points in the paint according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 games, and rest of season projections, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ subscribers, projected rest-of-season stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Tome Collective’s Fast Break Run 10 Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):
Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
Win #3 in the books! We’ll keep this going for as long as we are able using each player only once. We needed to swap out Wemby due to his being out for the remainder of the season as well as Bobby Portis who is suspended for 20+ more games.
