NBA Fast Break Run 10 | Day 3

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 15 Assists & 30 Rebounds to earn your win.

Recap & Overview:

Day 2 was a tough one for most Fast Breakers as only 9% earned a win on Day 2 out of over 7,000 lineups. In a blink of an eye, we are down from 2,268 perfect records after Day 1 to 180 participants who have won all the games this run. There are twelve (12) days remaining so the possibility of reaching zero perfect records like we experienced in Run 9. On Day 1, Reaves & Luka let down many Fast Breakers - yesterday, Coby White & Tyrese Maxey could only muster one (1) three pointer made and are your co-Fast Break Duds of the Day. Having both in your starting lineup all but assured a loss for the day unless you had Payton Pritchard, Joker, Jamal Murray, and/or Royce O’Neal in your lineup as each had at least six (6) 3PM. Donovan Mitchell & Derrick White were also in the top five utilized players and they both contributed three (3) three pointers, so neither stood out as studs.

Yesterday was the first taste of the new Pro mode where only Metallic Gold LE moments could be used in the quest for 15 3PM. Considering the low volume of winners in the Classic mode, you would expect the Pro mode would have less winners. In total, there were a little over 100 participants who earned a win. The next Pro mode with specific moments will take place on Day 5 where moments with the Top Shot debut badge will be eligible for your lineup. Until then, let’s dive into today’s objectives.

Today’s Objective(s):

Fast Break Day 3 requires five (5) players who will distribute 15.0 or more assists and gather 30.0 or more rebounds, which means your lineup will need to average 3.0 AST & 6.0 REB per player. There are a healthy number of players who have the capability of helping you accumulate both stats, so you can stick to the hybrid approach or moneyball it and fill your lineup with players who are specialists in either stat category. Based on how the second half of the season has gone so far, be acutely aware of injuries and late scratches as it may adversely affect your lineup.

Tome Collective’s Fast Break Run 10 Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):

Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.

Another day and another survival as Coby White was subbed in last minute due to a late Norman Powell scratch and he almost sunk it for us. Without Trae’s three pointer in the waning moments of the ORL-ATL game, we would’ve lost. Goes to show you the margin for victory is razor thin - especially with a car on the line.
