NBA Fast Break Run 10 | Day 2
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 15 Three Pointers Made & 25 Three Point Attempts to earn your win.
Recap & Overview:
And just like that, only 2,268 Fast Break participants remain (36%). Should no one remain perfect for the remaining 13 days (like in Run 9), then there’s still a chance for someone with a single loss to win the top prize of a 2025 Kia Telluride (or $10,000 in Dapper for international participants). Considering the top five (5) players utilized, both Austin Reaves and Luka Doncic let a whole lot of people down. The former of the two only have three (3) field goals made whereas the latter at least had five (5). With the expectations much higher on Luka, both are deserving of the first Fast Break Dud of the Day award of this run. Alternatively, King James carried many lineups as he contributed ten (10) field goals made and almost sent this game to overtime where many more winners would have been made. Unfortunately, the final shot did not find the bottom of the basket, so the 62% who didn’t earn a win are left hanging. But as a consolation, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day for his troubles.
Including the Pro mode, there are over 10,000 total entries which is an amazing feat, but we have not quite crested 10,000 in the Classic mode. Personally, that would be a more notable achievement & milestone. Given the aesthetic upgrades, improved monetary prizes (Run 9 reward packs were less than stellar based on overall sentiment), eye-catching top tier prize, notable partnership with Kia, and other incremental changes along the Fast Break journey, it continues to feel like a when and not an if-type scenario.
Until then, the 6,000+ Day 1 participants are positioned well to earn their share of rewards based on their consistent outcomes whether they’re participating in the Classic mode and/or Pro mode of Fast Break. Day 2 is lurking, so let’s end the day with a win.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 2 requires five (5) players who will make 15.0 or more three pointers out of 25.0 or more three point attempts, which means your lineup will need to average 3.0 3PM & 5.0 3PA per player. The second objective is more of a formality as a player cannot make a three pointer without attempting one. Damian Lillard was the top utilized player in lineups, but he was listed as questionable unexpectedly and has slowly drifted down the top five list. In the off chance he is removed from the Bucks injury report, he would be a top choice. Otherwise, look for alternatives. One to be weary of is Coby White who is projected to make 3.0+ three pointers and has done so over his last 10 games, but his last two games were duds.
Hoopers with Range:
Tier 1: LaMelo Ball
Tier 2: Donovan Mitchell, Anfernee Simons, Tyrese Maxey, Coby White
Tier 3: Jayson Tatum, Trae Young, Derrick White, Tyrese Haliburton, Michael Porter, Darius Garland, Cameron Johnson, Grayson Allen, Kevin Durant
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: D. Mitchell (78%), J. Tatum (73%), D. Lillard (57%), D. White (46%), N. Powell (34%)
Pro Mode: Today, only Metallic Gold LE moments are eligible
Looking Ahead:

Considerations:

Sacramento has the least number of games this run (5)
Phoenix & San Antonio have the most number of games this run (8)
Charlotte is playing the tail-end game of a back-to-back today
Day 4 & 9 only have 10 teams in action, so your lineup options will be more limited on these days
Day 5 & 10 have the most teams in action (20), so your lineup options will be more expansive
Boston & Denver’s last game this run lands on Day 12
Half the days this run will have a single objective (or resembles a single objective)
Pro mode has additional limitations on Day 2 (MGLE), Day 5 (TSD badge), Day 8 (Rookie year badge), Day 10 (TSD badge), Day 12 (Rookie year badge), & Day 14 (Throwdowns)
Statistical Approach:
Top players in projected three pointers made & three point attempts according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 games, and rest of season projections, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ subscribers, projected rest-of-season stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Tome Collective’s Fast Break Run 10 Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):
Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
Barely survived the Luka/Reaves disaster pairing on Day 1. With Dame added to the injury report unexpectedly, we needed to pivot so we swapped in Derrick White & Haliburton for Day 2. Depending on his injury status, Lillard would be viable on Day 5 or 11.
