NBA Fast Break Run 10 | Day 5
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 125 Points Scored to earn your win.
Recap & Overview:
Nic Claxton had himself a day as he delivered 12 points in the paint (30% of objective) along with 5 blocks (100% of objective). As he covered the entirety of the second objective, he put 69% of lineups in line for a victory. With that said, he secured the Fast Break Stud of the Day award. If you weren’t fortunate enough to have Nic in your lineup, it was tough sledding on the blocks side of the equation. Walker Kessler was relied on heavily and delivered 2 blocks, but there were many others who only had one or less. Considering only 46% of lineups earned a win, there were some challenge on the points in the paint side of the equation also. Of the players who were heavily used, Embiid only had 6 points in the paint and Jokic only had 12 points total against the Lakers. No clear Dud of the Day, but you likely have your own - especially if you fell short by a small margin.
Of the 139 perfect records through Day 3, there are now 84 who survived Day 4 (including Tome Collective’s common challenge lineups…which I’ve likely jinxed for mentioning). There are 7,700+ total lineups set for this run which has garnered positive energy and feedback for its top prize offering. Hopefully this drives more momentum and the new accounts created translates to more collectors in the NBA Top Shot ecosystem.
As a reminder, Top Shot Debuts (TSD) are required for Pro mode, which much more difficulty unless you hold many of the high end Series 1 debuts. SGA’s debut, for example, is currently priced at $155.00 with an average sale of $139.60. A hefty sum, but it has elevated in value due to the Pro mode. With more use of rookie badges, sets, etc., anticipate more of the same in the future as utility garners more value. Even still, today is going to be a challenging one as there are some top tier players who are questionable to play, so be very mindful of today’s injury report. Fingers crossed for a positive day for the majority.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 5 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 125.0 or more points scored, which means your lineup will need to average 25.0 PTS per player. Although there are 10 games on today’s slate, the points scored day requires either a consistent performance across your lineup or have at least one player who far exceeds the objective. Even still, one egregious underperformance can derail your day. There are only a handful of players who are projected to score more than 25.0 points, but there are a number of players who have done so over their last ten (10) games. Put your best foot forward and earn today’s win.
Bucket Getters: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Anthony Edwards, Trae Young, Cade Cunningham, Kevin Durant
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: S. Gilgeous-Alexander (78%), A. Edwards (56%), J. Brunson (51%), D. Booker (44%), K. Irving (37%)
Pro Mode: Top Shot Debuts only (TSD)

Objectives frequency (after today):
2x: STL, FGM, 3PM
1x: FGA, OREB, 3PA, AST, REB, BLK, PIP, PTS
Considerations:
Denver & Sacramento have the least number of games remaining (4)
Twelve (12) teams have the most number of games remaining (6)
Phoenix is playing the tail-end game of a back-to-back today
Day 9 only has 10 teams in action, so your lineup options will be more limited on these days
Day 10 have the most teams in action (20), so your lineup options will be more expansive
Boston & Denver’s last game this run lands on Day 12
Half the days this run will have a single objective (or resembles a single objective)
Assists minus turnovers & +/- are not included as objectives for Run 10
Pro mode has additional limitations on Day 5 (TSD badge), Day 8 (Rookie year badge), Day 10 (TSD badge), Day 12 (Rookie year badge), & Day 14 (Throwdowns)
Statistical Approach:
Top players in projected points scored according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 games, and rest of season projections, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ subscribers, projected rest-of-season stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Tome Collective’s Fast Break Run 10 Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):
Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
Four wins down, three (3) more to go for our primary objective and seven (7) more to go for our stretch goal…and dare I say ten (10) more to go for a chance at the top prize? A tough day ahead - especially if Giannis is limited on minutes or sits out. If necessary, we would move SGA to Day 5 and find an alternative to Day 10. Hoping for a good day.
