Recap & Overview:
Today marks the midway point of this series and it’s been a tough stretch with the next four (4) equally challenging days. Points scored is usually a tough day in itself, but today sprinkles in an additional element. On a day where only 40 rebounds were needed, Day 5 should have been one of the easier ones this run, but with the high number of injuries and uncertainty of replacement options, only 20% of participants earned a win.
Of the top five players who were utilized yesterday, none had more than ten rebounds (Jarrett Allen had 10), so making up for the underperformers (ex: Jaren Jackson, Deni Avdija) and Miles Bridges who remained in 50% of lineups was not done by the this bunch. Instead the top performers included Clingan, Yabusele, and Oubre each had thirteen (13) rebounds. Maxey appears to be the only consensus pick for lineups - every other pick is below the 50% threshold so anticipation a lot of chaos on a day where 28 teams are in action.

Fast Break Day 6 requires five (5) players who will make 15.0 three pointers made and score 130.0 points, which means your lineup will need to average 3.0 3PM & 26.0 PTS per player. After two straight days where 75%+ earned a win, we experienced three straight days below 45%. More specifically, the last two days were 20% or below. Day 6 will be another challenging one as the injury bug will continue to run rampant. LaMelo, for instance, is carrying an injury designation and is one of the top three (3) options today. Decisions, decisions.

Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. With the laundry list of injuries and DNPs, we scrambled to replace Deandre Ayton and Miles Bridges and chose Yves Missi and Jerami Grant…which did not pan out. We considered Donovan Clingan which would have led to a win, but hindsight is 20/20. Win #4…still loading.
