NBA Fast Break Run 7 | Day 9
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 15 Assists and 30 Rebounds to earn your win.
Recap & Overview:
After Day 8, we’ve gone from 101 perfect records to 94. Considering only 48% of lineups walked away with a win, the number of participants who fell off the pace is surprisingly low (7). Day 9 should prove to be more of the same and the number of winners should be high (at least higher than yesterday) with a challenge coming on Day 10 which requires field goals made.
OG Anunoby was utilized by 50% of participants as many had high hopes that he would come through with multiples of steal and blocks. Instead, they received 1 steal and no blocks. As the other four contributed more than OG, Anunoby is your Fast Break Dud of the Day. As for the stud, you could make an argument for Anthony Davis (2 blocks, 2 steals) or Jaren Jackson (1 block, 3 steals). Since we make our own rules, they are your Fast Break co-Studs of the Day.
As we have six (6) days remaining in this run, you will need at least five (5) wins thus far to achieve the 11-win objective. Otherwise, the 7-win reward is an ok consolation prize. As for the run-based rewards, keep in mind the reward is going to the top 25 participants only. Look ahead, check your lineups for injuries, and check back to Tome Collective daily to ensure you are putting your best foot forward.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 9 requires five (5) players who will distribute 15.0 or more assists and accumulate 30.0 or more rebounds, which means your lineup will need to average 3.0 AST & 6.0 REB per player. Considering the low threshold for assists, rebounds will be the more pressing objective between the two. There are plenty of players who can deliver both stat lines (Joker, Sabonis, etc.) and there are those who specialize (Ice Trae). Whether you choose to set a lineup of players who can deliver both objectives or moneyball it and utilize players who will get you a high volume of either stat, today should be one of the easier ones relative to the rest of this run. At this point, every win matters so put your best (available) foot forward.

Tome Collective’s Fast Break Run 7 Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):
Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
With Eason out, we subbed in James Harden. Unfortunately, we came up a steal short of the objective, so we will need to be perfect for the remainder of the run to achieve the 11 win reward, which is our stretch goal. We will need two (2) wins over the remaining six (6) days to complete our primary goal though. Feeling good about the 7 win target - the 11 win objective is going to be tough but not impossible.
