NBA Fast Break Historic | Run 3 | Day 4
Today’s Objective(s): 45 Rebounds & 10 Offensive Rebounds
Overview:
Day 3 marked the third straight day where over 50% of Historic Fast Break participants earned a win. With 70% of lineups earning a win on a day where blocks and steals were needed, that was the highest overall win percentage of this series.
Ben Wallace was a four time Defensive Player of the Year, so it’s natural he’d be a common choice for a day where defensive objectives are needed. So, naturally, he delivered a zero steal and one block performance, which earned him the Fast Break Dud of the Day.
On the other hand, Shawn Marion was the fifth most utilized player (31%) and he delivered the best performance of the night out of the top five as he accumulated two steals and four blocks. With his performance, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day award.
Now that we have three days of data, the metrics are starting to show which players are statistically more likely to help you earn a win compared to others. As the run progresses, this will be important as you may not have the top option available from here on out.
