NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 4 | Day 3
Thunder Keep Rolling, Edwards Ignites in OT, Celtics Hold Court
NBA Recap: December 2, 2025
The Oklahoma City Thunder continued their blistering run, dismantling the Warriors 124–112 at Chase Center. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander poured in 38, while Jalen Williams and Isaiah Joe punctuated the fourth quarter with daggers that silenced Golden State’s late surge. The Thunder now sit at a staggering 21–1, their win streak stretching into dominance that feels less like a hot start and more like a statement of intent.
In New Orleans, Anthony Edwards authored a 44-point masterpiece to lift Minnesota past the Pelicans 149–142 in overtime. The Timberwolves leaned on Edwards’ relentless shot-making to outlast Brandon Ingram and Trey Murphy, who combined to keep New Orleans alive until the extra frame. Meanwhile in Boston, Jaylen Brown powered the Celtics to a 123–117 win over the Knicks, with Brown’s 42 standing tall against Jalen Brunson’s late push.
Elsewhere, the Spurs rode Harrison Barnes and De’Aaron Fox collectively scored 60 points to a 126–119 victory over Memphis, Toronto edged Portland 121–118 behind Scottie Barnes’ 28, and Tyrese Maxey’s 35 fueled Philadelphia’s 121–102 rout of Washington. Although scoring was prevalent, assists were more spread out, which impacted Fast Break in a meaningful way.
Fast Break Recap: Day 2
The script was flipped on Day 2 back in line with expectations (and with the objectives in mind). 52% of Classic Fast Breakers earned a win compared to 43% in Pro and 90% in Historic (which generally sees a higher win rate given the relative predictability).
Assists were the name of the game in Classic and Brunson delivered 11 to lead all players in the top five. With his performance, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day award. Fox and SGA, on the other hand, could only deliver 4 assists apiece as they were too busy scoring for their respective teams. For their performance, they earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day award.
Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 3 of 13
Objective(s): 4 Blocks & 45 Rebounds (0.8 BLK & 9.0 REB)
You’ll need five (5) players who will accumulate 4 or more blocks and 45 or more rebounds, which means each player will need to average 0.8 BLK & 9.0 REB. Double objective, but there are multiple players who thrive in both categories. Your captain should be able to get you a little of both to help soften the requirements for the rest.
Top Player Options:
Little of Both: Anthony Davis, Evan Mobley, Donovan Clingan, Ivica Zubac
Shot Blockers: Evan Mobley, Luke Kornet, Ryan Kalkbrenner, Anthony Davis, Myles Turner, Peyton Watson, Isaiah Jackson, Daniel Gafford, Ivica Zubac
Glass Crashers: Nikola Jokic, Karl-Anthony Towns, Ivica Zubac, Jalen Duren
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: E. Mobley (73%) | A. Davis (67%) | I. Zubac (49%) | I. Stewart (44%) | M. Turner (43%)
Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:
Objectives remaining (after today):
2x: 3PM, 3PA, FGM, FGA, AST
1x: AST-TO, PITP, OREB, STL, PTS, REB
Tomorrow’s Objective(s): 20 Assists minus Turnovers (4.0 AST-TO)
Considerations:
Boston, Houston, Utah, & LA Lakers have the least number of games remaining (4); Lakers could have three if they lose in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals
LA Lakers, Miami, New York, Orlando, San Antonio, & Toronto could have an extra game if they win their first NBA Cup matchup
Miami, Phoenix, and Toronto could have up to seven games remaining (if they win in the NBA Cup Quarterfinals)
The dreaded AST-TO lands on Day 4 (tomorrow)
The four teams playing on Day 13 will depend on the results of Day 9’s NBA Cup results
The only day this run with more than 20 teams in action is Day 5
Day 8-11 & 13 have less than 8 or less teams in action, so your player options are more limited
Statistical Approach:
Top players in blocks & rebounds according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 average, and season averages, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ members, all active player stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:
In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.
