NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 1 | Day 13

Bold wins and breakout nights: Rockets torch Boston, Pistons shine in Mexico City, and the Kings outlast Milwaukee

NBA Recap: November 1, 2025

Houston stunned Boston 128–101 behind Jalen Green’s 34 points and Amen Thompson’s 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists, dominating the third quarter to blow the game open.

In Mexico City, Jalen Duren dropped a career-high 33 points and 10 boards, while Cade Cunningham orchestrated the offense with 21 points and 18 assists in Detroit’s 122–110 win over Dallas. Ausar Thompson added 15, and the Pistons outscored the Mavericks 35–17 in the fourth to seal it. D’Angelo Russell led Dallas with 31, while Cooper Flagg posted 16 on 3-of-14 shooting.

Aaron Nesmith scored 31 and Quenton Jackson hit a clutch three as the Pacers snapped a five-game skid, edging Golden State 114–109.

In Milwaukee, Zach LaVine led Sacramento with 31 points, DeMar DeRozan added 29, and Dennis Schröder iced it with two free throws in the final seconds to lift the Kings over the Bucks 135–133. Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 26 in the loss, including a late flurry that nearly flipped the game.

Elsewhere, Paolo Banchero’s 28 points powered the Magic past the Wizards, and Julius Randle dropped 30 as the Timberwolves cruised past Charlotte.

NBA Fast Break Results: Day 12

Yesterday yielded a 87% success rate for Fast Breakers. The 74% of collectors who leaned on Cade Cunningham (highest utilization) were rewarded. In total, he had an eye-popping 18 assists and 3 steals in Mexico City, so if he was your captain on the day, he singlehandedly pushed you across the line for both objectives as he had 27 assists & 5 steals with the captains bonus. With his stat-stuffing performance, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day award.

If, however, you were one of the 33% who relied upon DeMar DeRozan, you were not treated to as big a number in either category as he only had 3 assists to go along with his zero in the steals column. For this performance, he is your Fast Break Dud of the Day.

We’ve reached the final day of the first NBA Run of this season and the next one tips off immediately, so be ready for the Classic reset, the possible return of Pro, and the continuation of Historic mode.

Top players in three pointers made & three point attempts according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ members, all active player stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:

In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.
