NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 1 | Day 10

Jokic Makes History as Nuggets Roll; Reaves, Johnson, and Flagg Shine

NBA Recap: October 29, 2025

Nikola Jokic continued his early-season dominance with a fourth consecutive triple-double—posting 26 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists in Denver’s 122–88 blowout win over the Pelicans. He’s now the first player in NBA history to open a season with four straight triple-doubles, passing Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook in the record books.

In Minneapolis, Austin Reaves hit a game-winner to lift the Lakers over the Timberwolves 116–115, capping off a 29-point night that included 7 assists and clutch fourth-quarter buckets. Jalen Johnson stepped up for Atlanta with 23 points in a 117–112 win over Brooklyn, helping the Hawks hold off a late Nets rally after Trae Young exited early with a knee injury.

Cooper Flagg bounced back with 21 points and 9 boards in Dallas’s 107–105 win over Indiana, while the Trail Blazers edged the Jazz 136–134 in a shootout. The Bulls took care of business against the Kings 126–113 behind a balanced attack.

From Jokic’s historic streak to Reaves’s clutch heroics and Flagg’s bounce-back, there was plenty to talk about in the NBA yesterday.

NBA Fast Break Results: Day 9

On Day 9 turned out to be a challenging one as less than 50% of Fast Breakers earned a win on a day where field goals were needed. Jamal Murray, the most utilized player yesterday, attempted 14 shots but only made 5 of them. Donovan Mitchell, the third most utilized player yesterday, attempted two less shots than Murray, but made the same number. Starting both in your lineup likely spelled doom for your day — especially if either were your captain. Based on their performance, they are your Fast Break co-Duds of the Day.

On the other hand Zach LaVine, who was the fourth most utilized player, made 12 of 19 field goals and excelled relative to the other four, which earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day.

Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 10 of 13

Objective(s): 20 Assists minus Turnovers (4.0 AST-TO)

You’ll need five (5) players who will collectively accumulate 20 more assists than turnovers, which means each player will need to average 4.0 AST-TO. This is the wild card day as you’ll want to focus on players who are distributors first and foremost; then hope they limit their turnovers. The 1.5x factor is more prominent…if your captain goes negative with their assists minus turnovers, then your day is likely done.

Top Player Options:

  • Distributes the Ball, Protects the Ball: LaMelo Ball, Davion Mitchell, CJ McCollum, Draymond Green, Cole Anthony

  • Day 10 (today) only has eight teams in action

  • The always challenging AST-TO objective will be on Day 10 (today)

  • The Emirates NBA Cup tips on in early November

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:

In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.
