Blocks, Buckets, and Breakouts: Wemby and Reaves Set the Stage
NBA Recap: October 26, 2025
There were a pair of jaw-dropping performances that turned heads across the league. Victor Wembanyama stole the show in San Antonio with a surreal sequence: two blocks on one end of the floor followed by a logo-range three in transition, all within seconds. The Spurs rode his momentum to a 123–115 win over the Nets, improving to 3–0 and sending a clear message—they’re not just rebuilding, they’re arriving. Wemby’s defensive instincts and shot-making range continue to defy physics and expectations.
Meanwhile in Sacramento, Austin Reaves erupted for 51 points to lead the Lakers past the Kings 127–120 in a high-octane duel. While LeBron James and Luka Doncic remain LA’s primary engines, Reaves proved he’s more than a complementary piece—he’s a legitimate scoring weapon who can take over when needed. Elsewhere, Cooper Flagg dropped 22 in Dallas’s 139–129 win over Toronto, while the Clippers edged Portland 114–107 behind a late surge. The Heat, Cavaliers, and Timberwolves also notched wins, with Miami surprising the Knicks 115–107 and Cleveland holding off Milwaukee 118–113.
From Wemby’s physics-defying sequence to Reaves’s scoring clinic, yesterday wasn’t just entertaining—it was a showcase of rising stars and early-season statement games.
NBA Fast Break Results: Day 6
With 75% of the ~5,000 Fast Break participants winning on Day 6, we are back on track after the majority lost on Day 5.
The alien Wemby had himself a day with the block and steal show as he accumulated 6 & 3 respectively. As a captain, he delivered 9 blocks and 4.5 steals. Anyone who started Wemby (32%) won yesterday. With his performance, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day award.
Alternatively, Mikal Bridges was the most utilized player (59%) and he delivered no blocks and no steals — the only one in the top five to check off this unwanted achievement. With his poor performance in these two stat categories, he is your Fast Break Dud of the Day.

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:
In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.
