Spin Moves and Stunners: Gordon’s 360 Dunk Headlines a Night of Tone-Setting Wins
NBA Recap: October 25, 2025
Yesterday was anything but routine, as Aaron Gordon’s jaw-dropping 360 dunk punctuated Denver’s 133–111 rout of the Suns and set the tone for a night of swagger and separation. The Nuggets looked locked in from tip-off, with Nikola Jokic orchestrating the offense and Gordon delivering the exclamation point late in the fourth. The dunk wasn’t just a highlight—it was a message: Denver’s chemistry and confidence are already in playoff form.
Elsewhere, the Grizzlies flipped the script on Indiana, cruising to a 128–103 win despite being underdogs on paper. The Thunder silenced Atlanta 117–100 with a suffocating defensive effort, while Chicago stunned Orlando 110–98 behind gritty play from Nikola Vucevic and Ayo Dosunmu. In Philly, the 76ers edged the Hornets 125–121 in a shootout that saw both teams trade haymakers until the final buzzer. From Gordon’s aerial artistry to Memphis’s unexpected dominance, October 25 reminded fans that early-season games aren’t just warmups—they’re tone-setters. And if this slate is any indication, parity and unpredictability are already in full swing.
NBA Fast Break Results: Day 5
Nikola Jokic was the 5th most utilized player in Fast Break yesterday as he was seen in 43% of lineups and he delivered 14 rebounds & 1 offensive rebound. This accounted for 35% of the needed rebounds and 10% of the offensive rebounds. Unfortunately, the lack of offensive rebounds led to the lowest win percentage so far this run as only 44% earned a win. Unsurprisingly (and it won’t be the last time), Joker is your Fast Break Star of the Day.
Pascal Siakam, however, was the 3rd most utilized player and fell well short of the number of rebounds collectors needed of him. In total, he had six rebounds and one offensive rebounds, which accounted for 15% of the needed rebounds & 10% of the offensive rebounds needed. With his performance, he earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day.

Statistical Approach:
Top players in blocks & steals according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 (when available), and season averages, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ members, all active player stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:
In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.
