NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 1 | Day 2
Today’s Objective(s): 15 Three Pointers Made & 25 Three Point Attempts
Overview:
It’s a new NBA season, which means fresh moments to be minted on NBA Top Shot. With the announcement of changes for the 2025-2026 Season, there is excitement in the air about the potential and possibilities for the year. There are also adjustments to NBA Fast Break with some notable changes centered on player fatigue. Last year, a common/fandom moment yielded a single play regardless of value. In some cases, a common debut would net a higher value than a rare moment. This year, that changes as Average Sale Price will determine the frequency of usage for any player. There is a lot more to unpack, so be sure to read the NBA Top Shot roadmap for the full overview.
Fast Break Results: Day 1
98% of Fast Break participants earned a win on Day 1, which effectively puts everyone on a level playing field for the run-based rankings. SGA was the third most utilized player (71%) and dropped a 50-burger in a double overtime win over the Rockets. With his performance, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day award. The other four players who were in the top five for most utilized players all scored 20+ points, so there were Duds on the day.

When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections.
