The new moments will round out your collection to maximize your opportunities for the reminder of this season, the playoffs, and for seasons to come.
WNBA Score(s):
Liberty Hold Off Wings in Gritty Home Win (NYL 85, DAL 76)
New York leaned on its veterans and late-game execution to edge Dallas 85–76 at Barclays Center. Emma Meesseman and Leonie Fiebich delivered clutch buckets in the fourth, while Sabrina Ionescu’s floor leadership kept the Liberty composed. Dallas got a strong showing from Paige Bueckers, who scored multiple key jumpers down the stretch, but couldn’t close the gap. It’s a bounce-back win for New York that steadies their playoff push—and showcases their resilience.
Sky Snap Skid with Commanding Win Over Mystics (CHI 78, WAS 64)
Chicago delivered one of its most complete performances of the season, defeating Washington 78–64 at Wintrust Arena. Ariel Atkins led the charge with timely buckets and defensive stops, while the Sky’s third-quarter burst (26 points) broke the game open. The Mystics, despite Sonia Citron’s late flurry, couldn’t match Chicago’s energy or execution. For the Sky, it’s a morale-boosting win that halts a five-game slide—but they have a steep hill to climb if they have aspirations for the playoffs this season.
Sparks Snap Fever’s Streak Behind Balanced Attack (LAS 100, IND 91)
Los Angeles ended Indiana’s five-game win streak with a 100–91 win at Crypto.com Arena, fueled by a second-quarter surge and clutch fourth-quarter execution. Dearica Hamby and Kelsey Plum led a Sparks offense that shot over 50%, while Kelsey Mitchell’s 34-point outing wasn’t enough to overcome defensive lapses. Indiana cut a 22-point deficit to six late, but L.A. held firm. For the Sparks, it’s a statement win—and a reminder that their depth can swing games.
Mercury Torch Sun in Statement Win (PHO 88, CON 66)
Phoenix overwhelmed Connecticut with a wire-to-wire 88–66 victory at PHX Arena, opening with a 26–6 first quarter that set the tone. Kahleah Copper and DeWanna Bonner led a balanced Mercury attack, while Alyssa Thomas orchestrated from the high post, racking up assists and hustle plays. The Sun struggled to recover from the early deficit, and Phoenix’s defensive pressure never let up. It’s a win that reinforces the Mercury’s playoff credentials—and exposes Connecticut’s offensive inconsistencies
Lynx Outlast Storm in Fourth-Quarter Shootout (MIN 91, SEA 87)
Minnesota, who were without Napheesa Collier, surged past Seattle in a thrilling 91–87 win at Climate Pledge Arena, powered by Courtney Williams’ clutch scoring and a pair of 28-point quarters in the second half. The Storm kept pace with a barrage of late threes—Nneka Ogwumike and Erica Wheeler combined for four triples in the final two minutes—but the Lynx’s composure and execution sealed their 25th win. It was a game of momentum swings, but Minnesota’s depth and poise proved decisive. For Seattle, it is another blemish on their record, which has seen a challenging stretch against strong opponents.
Recap: Day 4
Day 4 saw the pendulum swing in the other direction as 88% of Fast Break participants earned a win whereas only 29% earned a win on Day 3. As player options are very limited today, there is a high probability that participants will either win together or lose together.
Although there were a number of top performing players, Alyssa Thomas’s performance earned her the Fast Break Star of the Day as she was utilized in 49% of lineups and contributed 12 rebounds on a day where 30 was needed. On the other end of the spectrum, Shakira Austin was utilized in 39% of lineups (4th highest), but could only accumulate 5 rebounds, which was below the needed average to earn a win. With her less than stellar performance toward Fast Break, she is your Dud of the Day.
Today’s Matchups:
Las Vegas Aces (15-14) vs Golden State Valkyries (14-14)
Tonight’s lone WNBA matchup tips off at Chase Center, where the Las Vegas Aces face the Golden State Valkyries in a pivotal Western Conference clash. Las Vegas enters as the favorite, riding a dominant 101–77 win over Golden State just three days ago. Jewell Loyd headlines the Aces’ attack after dropping 27 points in that victory, while A’ja Wilson continues her milestone march, needing just two blocks to reach 500 for her career.
Golden State, despite a strong 8–4 home record, will be without Kayla Thornton and Monique Billings, leaving Carla Leite and Veronica Burton to shoulder the scoring load. The Valkyries lead the league in rebounding and limit opponents to a league-low 28.8 points in the paint, but Las Vegas has found its rhythm—averaging over 100 points in their last two meetings. With playoff seeding on the line and the season series up for grabs, expect a high-intensity battle, though the Aces’ depth and recent form make them the projected winner.

Today’s Objective(s): Day 5
You’ll need five (5) players who will score 60.0 or more points, which means each player will need to average 12.0 PTS.
There is a single objective today, but you’ll need a full lineup from just two teams. If you did not plan ahead, you may be in for some trouble today as there is very little wiggle room to earning a win. Although these two teams match up well and the likelihood of a blowout is lower, it isn’t impossible. In that scenario, reaching today’s single objective could prove challenging.

WNBA Fast Break Grid
It's essential to consider the opponents, recent performance, and any injury updates before finalizing your Fast Break lineup. Additionally, staying up to date on the latest news and adjusting your roster accordingly will enhance your chances of earning a win today.
WNBA Key Dates:
September 11: Regular Season Ends
September 14-October 17: WNBA Playoffs
Power Rankings (Week 10):
There are 44 games in a WNBA Season, so teams have anywhere between 15-17 games remaining. As we are seeing with Indiana & L.A., a string of wins can change the course of the season. The other story is the string of injuries to top tier players like Breanna Stewart, Napheesa Collier, and Kayla Thornton. That’s in addition to Caitlin Clark remaining sidelined; although the Fever have found a way to win consistently without her (and look to be more dangerous when she returns).
With Stewie’s absence, the formidable Liberty look vulnerable. With only 6 wins separating ranks 2-10, any lengthy losing streaks could be devastating to a team’s playoff and championship hopes. This is even true for the Minnesota Lynx as an extended absence from Napheesa Collier could bring this team back down to the pack over the next few weeks.
As we inch closer to the playoffs, every game matters from here until the end of the season.
