WNBA Fast Break Classic | Run 3 | Day 11

Today’s Objective(s): 3 Blocks & 5 Steals

Recap & Overview:

Favorites Roll, McBride Steals the Spotlight

There were no surprises on the scoreboard last night as both Phoenix and Minnesota posted double-digit wins.

Phoenix set the tone early, jumping out to a 31–18 lead and never looking back. Even after Chicago trimmed the margin in garbage time, the Mercury’s 21-point victory continues their rapid climb up the WNBA power rankings.

In the second game, Minnesota held a slim lead entering the fourth, but Kayla McBride erupted for 14 of her 29 points in the final frame to put away the Sparks, 82–66. Even without Napheesa Collier, the Lynx continue to find ways to win.

Fast Break Recap: McBride Shines, Hiedeman Struggles

Yesterday’s challenge required three-pointers made and total points scored, and Kayla McBride delivered both in spades as she scored 29 points and made five threes. As she was the most utilized player (represented in 58% of lineups), her outstanding performance locked in Fast Break Star of the Day honors. Natisha Hiedeman, however, failed to find her rhythm, contributing just 4 points and 0 threes. With 41% of collectors relying on her, she earns Fast Break Dud of the Day. Fortunately, over 70% of collectors were able to earn a win.

Fast Break Preview: Ten Teams, Endless Possibilities

Tonight’s five-game slate brings multiple narrative threads:

  • Chicago faces a fresh Atlanta squad just 24 hours after their loss to Phoenix.

  • In Washington, a trio of elite rookies from the Mystics and Wings clash in a matchup loaded with future All-Star potential.

  • Indiana travels to Las Vegas, where the Aces are desperate to rediscover the form that made them early favorites.

  • New York meets Seattle—can the Storm clip another top-tier team and strengthen their contender credentials?

  • And in the Bay, Connecticut faces Golden State, who continue to overachieve despite significant EuroBasket absences.

This is a prime opportunity for collectors to get creative with their lineups. Let’s dive into today’s projections and find your edge.
