WNBA Fast Break Classic | Run 2 | Day 1

Today’s Objective(s): 25 Field Goals Made & 5 Three Pointers Made

Recap & Overview:

Fast Break Run 2 Begins: A Fresh Start for Collectors

Today marks the first day of Fast Break Run 2, spanning 11 game days from May 28th through June 9th. The reward structure remains unchanged, meaning collectors will need 5 and/or 11 wins to earn win-based rewards, while daily and run-based rewards stay consistent with Run 1.

For those looking to bounce back from the grueling first run, this is the perfect opportunity to reset, strategize, and chase big rewards.

WNBA Fast Break Pack Drop: Signed Parallels Arrive

In addition to Run 2’s kickoff, today also brings the first WNBA Fast Break pack drop of the 2025 season—an exciting chance to bolster collections with impact rookies.

For the first time, this pack features signed parallels, marking a major milestone for NBA & WNBA Top Shot.

If you’re searching for game-changing additions, watch for Paige Bueckers, Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, Dominique Malonga, and Hailey Van Lith—all poised to make an impact in their rookie campaigns.

One name standing out early is Kiki Iriafen, who is already averaging a double-double (13.8 PPG, 11.2 RPG), making her a highly sought-after player in WNBA Fast Break.

Game Recap: A Big Win for Dallas, Power Rankings Shift

Yesterday’s five-game slate featured key wins and emerging trends:

  • Dallas earned its first victory, dominating winless Connecticut in a 109-87 rout.

  • New York continued its unbeaten streak, improving to 4-0 while Golden State dropped back to .500.

  • Seattle, fresh off an upset over Las Vegas, couldn’t replicate that magic against Minnesota, as the Lynx remained undefeated alongside New York.

  • Atlanta extended its strong start, knocking off Los Angeles, while Phoenix secured its fourth win, narrowly defeating Chicago 94-89.

With Chicago and Connecticut still searching for their first wins, their early-season struggles have led to a slide in the Power Rankings (see update at the end of this article).
