WNBA Fast Break Classic | Run 1 | Day 11

Today’s Objective(s): 50 Points in the Paint & 3 Blocks

Recap & Overview:

Final Day of WNBA Fast Break Run 1

The first WNBA Fast Break Run of the season wraps up today after a day off from league action. The challenge level has remained high, with eight of the ten days producing success rates below 50%, including six days where fewer than 20% of collectors secured a win. Day 10 proved especially brutal, with only 6% walking away victorious.

At this point, only 212 of the 2,300+ participants have locked in the coveted five-win pack, while many others remain one victory away from crossing the threshold. With limited availability of top-tier players, collectors will need to strategize carefully heading into the final slate.

For those already out of the running for the five-win pack, it’s time to regroup and refocus—because Run 2 kicks off tomorrow, bringing a fresh chance to maximize rewards.

Sunday’s Matchups: Blowouts, Streak-Breakers, and Statement Wins

On Sunday, the Atlanta Dream dominated the Connecticut Sun, securing a 79-55 blowout over one of the three remaining winless teams. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Sparks snapped their three-game losing streak, defeating the Chicago Sky 91-78, handing Chicago another frustrating loss.

In another tight battle, the Phoenix Mercury edged out Washington, extending the Mystics’ losing streak to three after their promising 2-0 start.

Perhaps the biggest story of the night came from Seattle, as the Storm crushed perennial title contender Las Vegas by a score of 102-82 victory, proving their championship aspirations are very real.

Pack Drop Incoming: Rookies & Signed Parallels

Tomorrow marks the arrival of the first WNBA Fast Break pack drop, an opportunity to bolster collections with impact rookies. Even more exciting, this pack features signed parallels, marking a new milestone for NBA & WNBA Top Shot.

If you're eyeing promising young stars, look no further than Paige Bueckers, Sonia Citron, Kiki Iriafen, Dominique Malonga, and Hailey Van Lith—all poised to make waves this season and contribute in WNBA Fast Break.

Fast Break Recap: Reese Dominates, No Duds on the Day

Day 10’s Fast Break objectives centered on rebounds and blocks, leading to another tough success rate, though Angel Reese stood out, securing 12 rebounds and earning Fast Break Star of the Day for the 33% of collectors who rostered her.

None of the other top-utilized players had egregious performances, meaning there were no Duds of the Day (relatively speaking). Since only three players reached double-digit rebounds—Reese, Nia Coffey, and Marina Mabrey—the likelihood of earning a win was minimal, which underscores the difficulty Run 1 has proven to be.

Today’s Slate: Key Matchups of Contenders & Pretenders

Today’s five-game slate include:

  • Dallas vs. Connecticut: One of these winless teams will finally secure their first victory.

  • Golden State vs. New York Liberty: Despite preseason projections, the Valkyrie sit at 2-1 and now face the unbeaten defending champions.

  • Seattle vs. Minnesota: Fresh off a 20-point dismantling of the Aces, Seattle looks to solidify its contender status against another top-tier team.

  • Atlanta vs. Los Angeles: The Dream aim to keep their hot streak alive, while the Sparks look to build off Sunday’s win.

  • Chicago vs. Phoenix: The Sky seek their first win, but they’ll have to overcome a strong Mercury squad.

Today’s Fast Break objectives focus on 50 points in the paint and 3 blocks. With no player exceeding 35% lineup utilization, expect variability in individual results, but a consistently challenging outcome similar to the rest of the run.

Let’s break down the final day’s projections to help collectors secure their last win and carry momentum into Run 2.

Today’s Objective(s):

Tome Collective’s WNBA Fast Break Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):

Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.

Build-out in process, but is going slower than expected due to data irregularities. It’ll be ready by at least the next run at this rate. Here’s our lineup today though. With yesterday’s loss, we are no longer in the running for the 5-win pack. We’ll regroup and get there in Run 2. Here is today’s lineup of cobbled-together players.
