NBA Fast Break Classic | Playoffs Round 1 | Day 12

Today’s Objective(s): 35 Rebounds

Recap & Overview:

There are only two (2) teams in action today and each are tilted in favor of the lower seed. Both the Timberwolves (against the Lakers) and Warriors (against the Rockets) look to close out their higher-seed counterparts on the road. Should either team lose, they’ll play again on Day 14. Should both Minnesota & Golden State win, there will be no games scheduled on Day 14 and removes a day where you can earn a win, which is relevant if you’re shy of the 7-win objective.

Both the Celtics and Pacers closed out their opponents yesterday, so both series are complete and both teams have moved onto the second round. The Celtics await the result of the Knicks-Pistons while the Pacers are facing the Cavaliers. Denver won in blowout fashion against the Clippers and look to close out their series in Los Angeles on Day 13.

Speaking of yesterday, 30 assists were needed to earn a win. Since each person needed to provide at least 6 assists, two of the five most utilized players had less than this threshold. At this point of the series, Fast Breakers are also limited on players in their collection they can include in their lineup, so many are drifting further down their list. Case in point, Derrick White was leaned upon in 34% of lineups and the likeliest player with assists (Haliburton) was only used in 42% of lineups. The latter delivered nine (9) assists whereas the former had only five (5). Harden (used in 42% of lineups) also only had five (5) assists, so they are your Fast Break co-Duds of the Day. Tatum was utilized the most and was utilized in 45% of lineups and came through for his patrons as he had ten (10) assists. However, he was outdone by Joker, who was utilized in 27% of lineups and had twelve (12) assists and secured yet another triple-double. With that performance, he is your Fast Break Stud of the Day.

With two close-out games today, there will likely be some memorable moments today. If that happens, anticipate their moments being minted and distributed. As anticipated, the Tyrese Haliburton close-out, overtime, game-winner was minted yesterday and is available today.

The Next Minted Playoff Moment:

Tyrese Haliburton was voted the most overrated player amongst his peers…and used that as momentum in a close-out game against the Bucks. With the game-winning layout in overtime, he sent the Bucks packing and the Pacers into the second round against the Cavaliers. He also earned an ultimate moment along with legendary, rare, and common parallels - each are of the same player and game, but will have variation in their art and reel. There are multiple ways to earn/buy this moment, which differs from the Aaron Gordon buzzer beating dunk.

Trade-In & Leaderboard:

  • Common: trade in ten (10) Tyrese Haliburton common moments

  • Rare: trade in two (2) Tyrese Haliburton rare moments

  • Legendary: trade in two (2) Tyrese Haliburton legendary moments

  • Ultimate: place in the top three (3) on the leaderboard, but you’ll need an average sale price of $3,000

Packs: There are 39 packs at a price of $99. There is one (1) ultimate, seven (7) legendary, and 31 rare moments in these packs and each has a buyback - $4,509 for Ultimate, $609 for Legendary, & $69 for Rare.

Today’s Objective(s):

Fast Break Day 12 requires five (5) players who will accumulate 35.0 or more rebounds, which means each player will need to average at least 7.0 REB per player. With only four (4) teams in action, you have limited options - especially if you’ve utilized many of these players to date with minimal or no uses remaining. Averaging 7.0 rebounds per player isn’t impossible, but it also isn’t an easy threshold.

  • Glass Crashers: Alperen Sengun, LeBron James, Luka Doncic, Steven Adams, Jaden McDaniels

  • Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: L. Doncic (46%), J. Randle (45%), D. Green (44%), S. Adams (33%), A. Sengun (32%)

  • Tomorrow: Three Pointers Made & Three Point Attempts (how many of each is TBD)

  • Day 12 will have between 4-6 games scheduled; Day 14-16 is TBD based on the outcomes of Game 4s
