NBA Fast Break Classic | Playoffs Round 1 | Day 10

Today’s Objective(s): 100 Points Scored

Recap & Overview:

Each game yesterday resulted in a 3-1 leads which includes Minnesota (over the Lakers), Indiana (over the Bucks), Boston (over the Magic), and New York (over the Pistons)…although the latter was controversial as the final play resulted in a no-call foul. The play before the final play, however, was a clutch three pointer by KAT, which could end up in the Playoff set considering its significance. With four games resulting in each series down to a possible clincher, Day 14-16 have the possibility of having zero games scheduled. Of course, today’s two games will also have an impact on the final days of this series.

If you were one of the 90% of Fast Breakers who have Tyrese Haliburton in your lineup, you were gifted a significant 10 AST-TO performance, which paved the way for the 69% of winners and earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day. Without Tyrese or Brunson, it was tough sledding as many of the top options had minimal success in this category. Both Lillard (non-contact injury after only 6 minutes on the floor) and Schroder only have 2 AST-TO, so they are your Fast Break co-Duds of the Day.

Today, there are only two games, so your player options are limited. Also note your time to earn the Aaron Gordon playoff moment is waning in case you’re interested in pursuing that moment and set(s). As a reminder, here are the ways you can earn each tier that is currently available.

  • Any ten (10) common moments traded will earn the common version of Aaron Gordon’s playoff moment (while supplies last; reminder the mint serial is capped at 2,025)

  • Top 100 trade-in leaderboard earns the rare version of Aaron Gordon’s playoff moment ($30 average sales price is needed to be eligible)

  • Top 25 trade-in leaderboard earns the legendary version of Aaron Gordon’s playoff moment ($300 average sales price is needed to be eligible)

Onward to today’s objective and the players’ projections.

Today’s Objective(s):

Fast Break Day 10 requires five (5) players who will score 100.0 or more points, which means each player will need to average at least 20.0 PTS per player. It’s a lower than normal threshold compared to the regular season, but it is not a guarantee as one player can sink your overall lineup with an uncommon underperformance. There are, however, some players who have a higher probability to scoring more points than others.

  • Scorers: Stephen Curry, Tyler Herro, Donovan Mitchell

  • Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: J. Green (53%), E. Mobley (50%), B. Adebayo (46%), A. Sengun (45%), S. Curry (44%)

  • Day 11 & 12 will have at least two (2) games scheduled; Day 13-16 is TBD based on the outcomes of Game 4s

  • Day 9 (today) have the most number of teams in action (8) between Day 1-9

  • Day 10-16 have the correct objectives, but the required thresholds will be updated (more than 1 will be needed)

Tome Collective’s Fast Break NBA Playoffs Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):

Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.

Thanks to Haliburton’s 10 AST-TO, the majority won the day. It also was our 7th win overall, so now we are working toward the overall rankings, which will be tough to break into at this point. As our collection is limited to commons for Fast Break, it will be tough to win dailies also. But, we’ll keep pushing for it.
