NBA Fast Break Run 12 | Day 9

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 30 Points in the Paint & 5 Offensive Rebounds to earn your win.

Recap & Overview:

The first eight days of this run only had one day where the win rate was below 50%…until yesterday. Of the 5,000+ lineups, only 129 had enough to earn a win, which shrank the total number of perfect records from 578 to just seven. There were over 30 players who made at least three 3-pointers. Of the top five players utilized in lineups (Beasley, Simons, Herro, Thompson, & Green), 80% underperformed - Beasley made 2, Green & Simons made 1, and Klay made none. As Klay went 0 for 3 from deep, he is your Fast Break Dud of the Day. At the other end of the spectrum, Herro went 4 for 4 from outside to earn the Fast Break Stud of the Day Award. Honorable mention goes to Keegan Murray who made 9 of 13 three pointers and Devin Vassell who made 6 of 12 three pointers. If you had either of these players in your lineup, they likely led you to a win.

If you have at least six wins this run, you still have a chance at earning the 11-win pack, but you’ll need to earn a win each remaining day in this run. Should you fall short, your next goal should be placing in the top 680 overall as that will earn you at least $10 in Top Shot Credit. That means both wins and placement matters, so plan your days accordingly. There are five (5) days remaining in this run (including today) and there are many injuries that’ll directly affect your lineup. Be sure to check the rest of this run and ensure you adjust as needed. If you were one of the 97% of came up short of yesterday’s objective, let’s redirect that momentum and earn a win today.

Today’s Objective(s):

Fast Break Day 9 requires five (5) players who will score 30.0 or more points in the paint and gather 5.0 or more offensive rebounds, which means your lineup will need to average 6.0 PIP & 1.0 OREB per player. Considering the low thresholds and the number of players who could cover more than 50% of today’s objective, you should have no trouble earning a win today.

Tome Collective’s Fast Break Run 12 Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):

Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.

With yesterday’s loss, we will need to win the remaining five days to earn the 11-win pack. Fortunately, we only need one to reach out primary objective. Day 10 and Day 13 will be the biggest remaining hurdles, but we need to win Day 9 to give us a chance at the stretch goal. In light of Damian Lillard’s injury, we reviewed our remaining days and added Austin Reaves on Day 10, a bunch of people on Day 11, Hartenstein on Day 12, and RJ Barrett on Day 13.
