NBA Fast Break Run 12 | Day 7
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 40 Points in the Paint & 5 Blocks to earn your win.
Recap & Overview:
It took six days into Fast Break Run 12 to see a day where less than 50% earned a win, but there were still 35% of participants who walked away unscathed. In total, there are 875 Fast Breakers who remain perfect with seven days to go. The same cannot be said for anyone who has an ESPN bracket as perfection is no longer a possibility after the field shrank to 16. But the show must go on and the next wave of March Madness games tips off on Thursday. Until then, you can fill your basketball thirst with the 6-8 games per day until the NCAA Tournament resumes.
Of the players who were on the 16 teams in action, twenty-one (21) gathered at least 8 rebounds. Two of the five most utilized players were not amongst this group - Jarrett Allen (51%) and Mark Williams 46% who delivered 6 and 5 rebounds respectively. For this less than stellar performance, they are your Fast Break co-Duds of the Day. Alternatively, Walker Kessler was utilized in 50% of lineups and contributed 13 rebounds, which helped to buffer poor performances (like Allen & Williams) if you had one anchor. For this reason, Walker earned the coveted Fast Break Stud of the Day award.
Should you have at least four (4) wins under your belt, you still have a chance 11-win pack. With seven (7) days remaining this run, the room for error is quite limited though. Let’s jump into today’s objectives to maximize your chances to earn a win today.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 7 requires five (5) players who will score 40.0 or more points in the paint and gather 5.0 or more blocks, which means your lineup will need to average 8.0 PIP & 1.0 BLK per player. There are only a handful of players in action today who are both projected and have achieved the minimum threshold for both stats over their last 10 games. If he plays, Giannis is a must-start if he’s still available in your collection considering his high volume of points in the paint and capability to deliver blocks. Porzingis & Washington are also solid plays considering their projections & last 10 games. Alternatively and should you opt for a moneyball approach where you prioritize a person’s proficiencies, there are a plethora of players who can get you points in the paint and others who are block specialists. Let’s dive into the stats for today.
Little of Both: Kristaps Porzingis, P.J. Washington, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nic Claxton, Jakob Poeltl
Inside Scorers: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Zion Williamson, Nikola Jokic, Kevin Durant, LeBron James, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, DeMar DeRozan, Pascal Siakam, Devin Booker, Jaylen Brown, Naji Marshall, Jayson Tatum

Earned a win on Day 6, but just barely. Mark Williams made things very interesting, but we were able to land on 50 thanks to Zubac’s 11 rebounds. seven more days where we’ll need six wins to earn the 11-win pack.
