NBA Fast Break Run 11 | Day 12

Pick 5 Players who will combine for 40 Points in the Paint & 5 Blocks to earn your win.

Recap & Overview:

At this point of the season, the last few days are brutal as lineup options wane as objective difficulty ramps up. By comparison, this run has been much more kind to the majority of Fast Breakers. Day 10 saw 90% of participants earn a win and yesterday had 79% of participants earn a win. Today doesn’t feel too daunting considering the prevalence of points in the paint and blocks. Comparatively, Day 13 feels like the more difficult of the two. So long as you have at least nine (9) wins to date, you still have a chance at the 11-win reward. So far, 134 participants have already reached the 11-win mark and are perfect to date.

If you were one of the 64% of Fast Breakers who started Tyrese Haliburton, you had someone who covered 60% of the assists objective as well as 100% of the steals goal. With that performance, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day. Of the remaining four players, none fell below five assists so yet again, there were no Duds today which has been a trend this run. Contrary to the “Fast Break curse” that has been a common theme in prior series, the most common players utilized often came through. It won’t always be the case, but it’s been fun to see so many earn wins. It also will go without saying that there will be many unhappy people who open their 11-win packs and see predominantly common moments. C’est la vie. Let’s earn a win today and maximize your chances at the run-based rewards.

Today’s Objective(s):

Fast Break Day 12 requires five (5) players who will score 40.0 or more points in the paint & accumulate 5.0 blocks, which means your lineup will need to average 8.0 PIP & 1.0 BLK per player. These two stats are often correlated, so your top players will often flow into both objectives. As there are two days remaining, put your best foot forward to maximize your standing for the run-based rewards.

  • Little of Both: Evan Mobley, Mark Williams, Walker Kessler, Ivica Zubac, Nic Claxton, Onyeka Okongwu, Chet Holmgren, Kevin Durant, Jarrett Allen

  • Inside Scorers: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luka Doncic, Ivica Zubac, Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, Kawhi Leonard, Kevin Durant, Mark Williams, Evan Mobley

Looking Ahead:

  • Tomorrow: 40 FGM & 55 FGA will be the two (pseudo) objectives; 16 teams in action

Considerations:

  • Eight (8) teams have the least number of games remaining (1)

  • Twenty-one (21) teams have the most number of games remaining (2)

  • Brooklyn, Milwaukee, & Oklahoma City are playing the tail-end game of a back-to-back today

  • Pro mode has additional limitations on Day 13 (For the Win Rare)

Tome Collective’s Fast Break Run 11 Line-Up (Commons Only Challenge):

Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.

That makes nine. We need two more to reach out stretch goal of 11-wins. With Ja being out, we swapped in Jordan Poole which didn’t make a difference either way considering Tyrese had such a great day for both objectives. Two more wins.
