Recap & Overview:
Four of the six days this run had a less than 50% win rate and Day 6 was one of these days as only 25% of Fast Breakers walked away unscathed. Of the 64 participants who were perfect through Day 5, only 13 remain. With each passing day, the possibility of a spotless record drops more and more which offers a glimmer of hope for someone with a single loss to win the top prize.
Both Tyler Herro and Trae Young were two of the five highest used players yesterday…and both had donuts in the 3PM stat line. If you had one or both in your lineup, then you were assuredly sunk for the day, so they both share the Fast Break Dud of the Day award. Conversely, Jordan Poole was the most heavily used player and delivered a five (5) 3PM performance to earn the Fast Break Stud of the Day award. Honorable mention goes to Zach LaVine who drained eight (8) three pointers on the night.
Today’s objective is less straightforward and equally challenging as either category could be the culprit in coming up short. Steals, however, is the more unpredictable of the two - especially with Dyson Daniels not in the mix. Put your best foot forward and cross those fingers to earn a win today.

These two objectives are not always correlated, so you have options on how to approach the day - you can prioritize specialists for either objective, utilize players who have proficiency for both stats, or mix a little of both.

When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. Many Fast Break participants do not have an extensive collection of rare or legendary moments, so they are limited to single use commons. Even with a limited lineup, participants have found a way to reach the maximum rewards. Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
And with that, our win streak is over and we’re knocked out to the top 100 through Day 6. Although the Kia is likely no longer a reality, we are keeping our eyes on the 7-win pack with our stretch goal of 11-win pack which means we have two & six more wins to go, respectively. Relative to our initial lineup, we swapped in Alvarado, Chris Paul, & Lillard.
