NBA Fast Break Run 9 | Day 11
Pick 5 Players who will combine for 40 Field Goals Made & 55 Field Goal Attempts to earn your win.
Recap & Overview:
Up until now, Day 7’s +/- had the lowest outcome with only 6% of participants earning a win…but Day 10 said “hold my beer” and helped 99% of participants walk away empty-handed. Brutal. There are four days remaining in this run, so there is very little room for error if you’re still in the running for the 11-win reward.
Cade Cunningham was used in 33% of lineups yesterday (the fifth highest), but he contributed a +7 assists minus turnovers. For that outstanding performance, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day. Immanuel Quickley, however, was used in 70% of lineups and delivered a -1 assists minus turnovers and was your Fast Break Dud of the Day.
Of the 26 perfect lineups yesterday, there now remains one person who is 10 of 10. That means if you have nine wins, you are well positioned to earn a top tier spot so long as you finish strong. It also means you still have a chance at the top spot should the top person falter down the stretch. Today is straightforward but is far from easy as you will need five players who can make their shots while avoiding those who have an off day. Put your best foot forward and earn your win.
Today’s Objective(s):
Fast Break Day 10 requires five (5) players who will make 40.0 or more shots out of 55.0 or more attempts, which means your lineup will need to average 8.0 FGM & 11.0 FGA per player. At the end of the day, you can’t sink the buckets unless you take the shot so today feels more like a single objective day. As you’d expect, you’ll need to include the primary or secondary options on their respective teams to have a chance today. SGA is an obvious choice, but he is nowhere near the top five as he’s likely not available for many collectors. Not only do you need to avoid the underperformers, you’ll need players who can make up for any potential deficits produced by players who come up short of the 8.0 threshold. Here are your top options based on today’s projections and their last 10 games.
Takes the Shot, Makes the Bucket: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, LeBron James, Anthony Edwards, Bobby Portis
Top Five (5) Players in FB Lineups: F. Wagner (43%), J. Tatum (42%), K. Irving (41%), D. Mitchell (36%), D. Fox (31%)
Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow, 100 points & 5 steals will be the double objective; only 8 teams will be in action
Objectives frequency (after today): REB, PTS, AST, STL, 3PM, 3PA
Considerations:
Twenty-two (22) teams have the least games remaining this run (2)
Eight (8) teams have the most games remaining this run (3)
Charlotte & Milwaukee is playing the tail-end of back-to-back games
Day 12 only has 8 teams in action
Day 13 has all 30 or more teams in action
2 of 4 remaining days this run will have a single objective (or resembles a single objective)

Follow along as the Tome Collective account participates in Fast Break without using any player more than once - in both our success and failures.
Somehow Day 10 was worse than Day 7. Now we need to win the remaining 4 days to achieve our stretch goal. Fortunately we’ve met our original 7-win objective, so the rest is gravy. Onward to Day 11.
