NBA Fast Break Historic | Run 4 | Day 9

Today’s Objective(s): 40 Field Goals Made & 5 Steals

Recap:

Day 8 brought us back to the collective winning ways as it marked the 7th day of the run (out of eight) where over 70% of participants earned a win. Of the two remaining days, today is the more difficult of the two and has a higher probability of a low win rate. Today, you’ll need a high volume of field goals and steals. As the latter can be less predictable, you’ll need to balance scorers and thievery. Fortunately, there are players who have a tendency to deliver both.

Marcus Camby was utilized in 21% of lineups (the 4th highest of all players) and he had a monster day with 18 rebounds (36% of the day’s rebound requirement) and 6 offensive rebounds (60% of the day’s objective), which earned him the Fast Break Stud of the Day award. Dwight Howard was an honorable mention as he had one less offensive rebounds, but the same number of total rebounds as Camby. Ben Wallace had the 5th highest utilization rate (21%) and he delivered an abysmal performance as he could only muster 5 rebounds and 2 offensive boards. Prior to today, he was averaging 13.0+ total & 3.0+ offensive rebounds and picked the worst day to tank his average. As such, he is your Fast Break Dud of the Day.
