NBA Fast Break Historic | Run 4 | Day 2

Today’s Objective(s): 30 Rebounds & 20 Assists

Overview:

Day 1 of the new run started us off on the right foot as 76% of Fast Break participants earned a win. The common trend across prior historical Fast Break runs is the inconsistency compared to historical averages. Keep in mind these players are mixed with other players who exceled in their prime, so shot attempts may not be reflective of history. It is also 5-on-5 over 36 minutes, so the data will inevitably be skewed.

Of the top five players utilized yesterday, Demarcus Cousins had the best performance as he scored 28 points via his 12 field goals made. If you one of the 36% who started him, you were sitting pretty for the day. His scoring output earned him the Fast Break Star of the Day. On the other hand, Tracy McGrady had the worst performance and he was utilized in 40% of lineups, but he could only deliver 17 points and 6 field goals made. With his performance, he earned the not-so-coveted Fast Break Dud of the Day.

Note: there was only one roster adjustment as Bill Walton replaced Cliff Robinson on the Portland Trail Blazers.
