NBA Recap: December 12, 2025

Detroit kept its stranglehold on the East, dismantling Atlanta 142–115 in a game that showcased their depth and pace. With Maxey sidelined, Philadelphia leaned on Joel Embiid’s season-high 39 points to power past Indiana 115–105, while Cleveland edged Washington 130–126 thanks to Donovan Mitchell’s late-game shot-making. Utah delivered the night’s biggest surprise, stunning Memphis 130–126 in a high-scoring duel that flipped expectations.

Dallas handled Brooklyn 119–111 with Luka Dončić orchestrating the offense, and Minnesota outlasted Golden State 127–120 behind Rudy Gobert’s dominance in the fourth quarter. Chicago also picked up a road win, topping Charlotte 129–126 in a back-and-forth battle.

Fast Break Recap: Day 12

It was a down day for Classic and Pro, but Historic had a rough go as only 13% earned a win. Classic had the best outcome as 94% walked away happy, compared to 56% in Pro.

Regardless of who you had in your lineup, you likely walked away a winner considering the high win rate, so there were multiple Studs on the Day relative to the lineup and captain you selected.
