NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 4 | Day 12

Celtics Buckle, Denver Dominates, Rockets Escape, Pelicans Explode

NBA Recap: December 11, 2025

Milwaukee reminded Boston that the East is still a battleground, taking a 116–101 win at Fiserv Forum with Kyle Kuzma (of all people) powering the Bucks’ offensive with 31 points on 76.5% shooting while Kevin Porter, Jr. chipped in with a triple double. Houston held off the Clippers 115–113 in a nail-biter at Toyota Center, Ivica Zubac’s 33-point effort for L.A. not enough to overcome the Rockets’ balanced attack. The Nuggets also rolled into Sacramento and left no doubt, dismantling the Kings 136–105 behind a relentless offensive rhythm.

The night’s fireworks came in New Orleans, where the Pelicans blitzed Portland 143–120, riding a wave of pace and shot-making that left the Blazers scrambling. Four games, four different tones: Denver’s inevitability, Milwaukee’s determination, Houston’s grit, and New Orleans’ explosion. It was a night that reshaped momentum across conferences, with contenders flexing and pretenders exposed.

On the other hand, Kevin Durant shot 35.7% from the field on 5 of 14 shooting. With his less than stellar performance (compared to the other four), he earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day. Deni Avdija wasn’t far behind as he shot 5 of 15 from the field.

Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 12 of 13

Objective(s): 15 Three Pointers Made & 25 Three Point Attempts (3.0 3PM & 5.0 3PA)

You’ll need five (5) players who will make 15 or more and take 25 or more three pointers, which means each player will need to average 3.0 3PM & 5.0 3PA. This is another straightforward objective where the former will determine whether you win and the latter will dictate where you rank overall for the day. Who you utilize as captain will also be a buffer to your day and take the pressure off the other four players in your lineup. Note that a single player who falls well below the threshold could also derail your day entirely and three pointers are more difficult to come by than field goals. Anticipate a challenging day ahead.

Top Player Options:

  • Outside Snipers: Stephen Curry, Donovan Mitchell, Anthony Edwards, Tyrese Maxey

  • Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: M. Porter Jr. (75%) | D. DiVincenzo (62%) | A. Edwards (53%) | C. McCollum (51%) | S. Curry (39%)

Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:

  • Tomorrow’s Objective(s): 20 Assists (4.0 AST)

Considerations:

  • Twelve (12) teams have no more games remaining this run

  • Day 12 has the most teams in action (14) and each one’s last game is today

  • Day 13 will have the four semifinalists playing in Las Vegas (New York, Oklahoma City, Orlando, & San Antonio)

Statistical Approach:

Top players in three pointers made & three point attempts according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 average, and season averages, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ members, all active player stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.
