NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 4 | Day 8
Thunder Dominate without SGA, Lakers Edge Out, Warriors Cruise in Chicago
NBA Recap: December 7, 2025
The Oklahoma City Thunder overwhelmed the Utah Jazz 131–101 in Salt Lake City, their relentless pace and balanced scoring took center stage as they were without their reigning MVP, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who sat out due to an elbow injury. In Philadelphia, the Lakers eked out a 112–108 win over the 76ers, with LeBron James drilling a late go-ahead three and Luka Dončić posting a triple-double to secure the victory. Golden State, meanwhile, rolled past Chicago 123–91, their offense humming as the Bulls faltered in the fourth quarter.
Elsewhere, the Celtics outlasted Toronto 121–113, Jaylen Brown and Derrick White leading Boston’s perimeter barrage. Denver handled Charlotte 115–106, while Memphis dismantled Portland 119–96 behind a dominant opening quarter. The Knicks protected Madison Square Garden with a 106–100 win over Orlando, Jalen Brunson’s 29 points anchoring the effort.
Fast Break Recap: Day 7
Classic and Historic had better win rates than Day 6 (66% & 62% respectively), but Pro mode cratered as only 2% of participants earned a win. Joker saw the second highest utilization rate out of all the players in action yesterday and he delivered 11 assists and a steal to earn the Fast Break Stud of the Day award. If he was your captain, he would have delivered 17 assists and 2 steals.
On the other hand, Suggs (5th highest utilization) had a measly 4 assists to go with his two steals. With his lackluster performance (relative to others), he earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day.
Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 8 of 13
Objective(s): 35 Field Goals Made & 45 Field Goal Attempts (7.0 FGM & 9.0 FGA)
You’ll need five (5) players who will make 35 or more field goals out of 45 or more attempts, which means each player will need to average 7.0 FGM & 9.0 FGA. The former will determine whether you win today and the latter will dictate where you place for the day. There aren’t many teams in action today, so your options are limited.
Top Player Options:
Takes the Shot, Makes the Shot: Anthony Edwards, Pascal Siakam, De'Aaron Fox, Trey Murphy
Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: P. Siakam (91%) | A. Edwards (88%) | Z. LaVine (68%) | D. Fox (49%) | D. Brooks (40%)
Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:
Objectives remaining (after today): PTS, REB, 3PM, 3PA, AST, FGM, FGA
Tomorrow’s Objective(s): 80 Points Scored (16.0 PTS)
Considerations:
Eighteen teams only have one (1) game remaining
Four teams have two (2) games remaining
Miami could have either one or two games remaining based on their NBA Cup outcome
LA Lakers, New York, Orlando, San Antonio, & Toronto could have three games remaining depending on their NBA Cup outcome
The four teams playing on Day 13 will depend on the results of tomorrow’s NBA Cup results
Day 8-11 & 13 have less than 8 or less teams in action, so your player options are more limited
