NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 4 | Day 6

Thunder Roll, Celtics Cruise, Nuggets Survive

NBA Recap: December 5, 2025

In Oklahoma City, the Thunder overwhelmed Dallas 132–111, flexing their depth and pace in front of a raucous Paycom Center crowd. Boston, meanwhile, showcased its perimeter firepower, drilling 24 threes en route to a 126–105 dismantling of the shorthanded Lakers. Jaylen Brown’s 30-point night underscored the Celtics’ rhythm, while Austin Reaves’ 36 kept Los Angeles afloat without LeBron James and Luka Dončić.

Elsewhere, Denver came back from being down by over 20 points and edged Atlanta in a thriller, 134–133, surviving a furious Hawks push with clutch late-game execution. Philadelphia silenced Milwaukee 116–101, Joel Embiid anchoring a balanced Sixers attack. Indiana outpaced Chicago 120–105, while Houston handled Phoenix 117–98 behind a dominant second quarter. Memphis protected home court with a 107–98 win over the Clippers, and Detroit outlasted Portland 122–116 in a back-and-forth battle. Orlando squeaked past Miami 106–105, while New York lit up the Garden with a 146–112 rout of Utah. Charlotte capped the night with a 111–86 takedown of Toronto, a rare road highlight for the Hornets.

Fast Break Recap: Day 5

We had a clean sweep yesterday as none of the three Fast Break iterations saw a high win rate. Pro mode had the highest at 39%, followed by Classic with 12%, and Historic brought up the rear with only 3%.

In Classic, Jamal Murray had the best night out of the top five as he made 4 of 6 from outside. With his performance, he earned the Fast Break Stud of the Day. On the other hand, AJ Green was the fifth most utilized player and delivered an 0 for 4 performance before leaving the game early. With his poor performance, he earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day.

Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 6 of 13

Objective(s): 50 Points in the Paint & 12 Offensive Rebounds (10.0 PITP & 2.4 OREB)

You’ll need five (5) players who will accumulate 50 or more points in the paint and 12 or more offensive rebounds, which means each player will need to average 10.0 PITP & 2.4 OREB. Both of these objective take place on the offensive end and there are a couple players who have a high proficiency in both categories. Beyond that, you can take a moneyball approach and utilize specialists in either category to maximize your chances of winning today. The threshold for both is high though, so it won’t be a walk in the park today.

Top Player Options:

  • Little of Both: Ivica Zubac, Alperen Sengun

  • Inside Scorers: Alperen Sengun, Cade Cunningham, Kawhi Leonard, Ivica Zubac, Anthony Davis

  • (Offensive) Glass Crashers: Ivica Zubac, Jalen Duren, Steven Adams, Rudy Gobert

  • Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups: I. Zubac (60%) | J. Duren (52%) | R. Gobert (46%) | A. Sengun (46%) | A. Thompson (38%)

Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:

  • Objectives remaining (after today):

    • 2x: FGM, FGA, AST

    • 1x: STL, PTS, REB, 3PM, 3PA

  • Tomorrow’s Objective(s): 30 Assists & 5 Steals (6.0 AST & 1.0 STL)

Considerations:

  • Houston has the least number of games remaining (2)

  • LA Lakers, Miami, New York, Orlando, San Antonio, & Toronto could have an extra game if they win their first NBA Cup matchup

  • Phoenix has the most potential number of games remaining (6) if they win their next NBA Cup match

  • The four teams playing on Day 13 will depend on the results of Day 9’s NBA Cup results

  • Day 8-11 & 13 have less than 8 or less teams in action, so your player options are more limited
