NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 4 | Day 1

OKC First to 20 Wins, ATL wins in 2OT, Lakers & Rockets Keep Rolling

NBA Recap: November 30, 2025

It was a high scoring night as only one team scored less than 100 points. The Thunder closed out November with a 123–115 win in Portland, powered by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 26 points and Chet Holmgren’s 19 points, 9 rebounds. It marked OKC’s 12th straight victory, pushing them to 20–1 on the season. Portland’s Deni Avdija nearly stole the show with a monster 31-point, 19-rebound, 10-assist triple-double, but the Blazers couldn’t overcome OKC’s late surge.

Earlier in the night, Atlanta stunned Philadelphia in double overtime, 142–134, behind Jalen Johnson’s career-high 41 points and 14 rebounds. Tyrese Maxey countered with 44 points and 9 assists, but Johnson’s clutch threes in the second OT sealed it. The Lakers kept rolling with a 133–121 win over New Orleans, Luka Dončić (34–12–7) and Austin Reaves (33–8–5) playing co-stars. Boston edged Cleveland 117–115 thanks to Payton Pritchard’s 42-point explosion and Jaylen Brown’s triple-double. The Knicks handled Toronto 116–94, Minnesota leaned on Anthony Edwards’ 32 points to top San Antonio 125–112, and Memphis beat Sacramento 115–107 behind rookie Zach Edey’s 32 points, 17 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Houston also earned a win with a 129–101 rout of Utah.

Today’s Fast Break Objective(s): Day 1 of 13

Objective(s): 130 Points Scored (26.0 PTS)

You’ll need five (5) players who will score 130 or more points, which means each player will need to average 26.0 PTS. This is a straightforward objective and your captain has the opportunity to make your day easy if they excel and score 30+. Be mindful, though, of the remaining days of this run and objectives that’ll be needed. Plan accordingly.

Top Player Options:

  • Point Scorers: Nikola Jokic, Cade Cunningham, Giannis Antetokounmpo

  • Top Five (5) Players in Classic Lineups:

Upcoming Fast Break Objectives:

  • Objectives remaining (after today):

    • 3x: AST

    • 2x: REB, 3PM, 3PA, FGM, FGA

    • 1x: BLK, AST-TO, PITP, OREB, STL, PTS

  • Tomorrow’s Objective(s): 35 Assists (7.0 AST)

Considerations:

  • Memphis & Sacramento have the least number of games remaining (4)

  • LA Lakers, Miami, New York, Orlando, San Antonio, & Toronto could have up to six games this run (if they win their NBA Cup game on Dec. 9th)

  • The dreaded AST-TO lands on Day 4

  • The four teams playing on Day 13 will depend on the results of Day 9’s NBA Cup results

  • The only day this run with more than 20 teams in action is Day 5

  • Day 8-11 & 13 have less than 8 or less teams in action, so your player options are more limited

Statistical Approach:

Top players in points scored according to Rotowire & NBA.com, which is available in the table(s) below. Overall rank is based on daily projections, last 10 average, and season averages, which is stack ranked amongst peers for each objective. When there is a single objective, the three data points are still used to stack rank the players vs. ranking solely on projections. For tome+ members, all active player stats are available in the provided data file. Omission of certain players would be based on injuries at the time of data pull.

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:

In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.
