NBA Fast Break Classic | Run 3 | Day 12

Brunson Delivers, Vassell Breaks Out, OKC Sails into the Knock-Outs

NBA Recap: November 28, 2025

The NBA’s in-season tournament slate on November 28 delivered eleven games of drama, with stars stepping up and underdogs stealing headlines. Jalen Brunson’s 37-point night powered the Knicks past the Bucks 118–111, while Devin Vassell’s 33 lifted the Spurs to a wild 139–136 win over the Nuggets, and the Oklahoma City kept pace in the West behind a 123–119 victory over the Suns. All three games were meaningful as the winners punched their ticket into the knock-out stage of the NBA In-Season Tournament.

Additionally, Orlando’s razor thin win against the suddenly vulnerable Pistons (112-109) secured their spot as well. Memphis spoiled the Clippers’ night at the Intuit Dome, 112–107, the Jazz rode balanced scoring to top the Kings 128–119, and the Pacers earned their third win of the year against the two-win Wizards. In the other games, Atlanta held off Cleveland 130–123, Philadelphia handled Brooklyn 115–103, Charlotte outgunned Chicago 123–116, and the Lakers leaned on LeBron James to outlast the Mavericks 129–119.

Based on the results on the day, an idle Miami team also secured a wild-card spot. Phoenix, on the other hand, was able to secure the other wild card spot even though they lost to the Thunder.

  • Advanced (8 spots): Toronto, Orlando, New York, Miami (WC), Oklahoma City, Phoenix (WC), LA Lakers, San Antonio

NBA Fast Break Recap: Day 11

Fast Break Day 11 was another mixed bag, but the majority in two of the three iterations earned a win. More specifically 81% in Classic, 57% in Pro, and 45% in Historic.

Of the top five players, we saw Brunson, SGA, and Murray all score 37 points, which would have netted you 56 points if any were your captain. Based on their collective performances, they are your Fast Break co-Studs of the Day. Although Joker didn’t have his best scoring output on the season, he wasn’t the lowest scorer as Pascal Siakam earned that title as he only scored 24 points on the day. With his poor performance relative to the other four, he earned the Fast Break Dud of the Day award.

Witty’s Fast Break Challenge:

In NBA Fast Break, how often you can use a player depends on the value of their moments—measured by average sale price. That system can put newer and/or smaller collectors at a disadvantage, limiting their ability to compete. This segment is designed to level the playing field, giving resourceful collectors a shot at rewards and proving that smart strategy can still win, even without a stacked collection.
